I was working on an update, but then I found out about this, and I just.....I feel like I should say something.
Last year the principal of my middle school was diagnosed with cancer.
We did a whole motivation video for him, we got together with the high school and spelt out
"We <3 Mr. Davis" on the football field, we had fundraisers and everything.
He was too sick to make the eighth grade graduation, so we wore Stay Strong bracelets and raised them in his honor.
I switched schools afterwards, but I was always wondering how he was doing and if he was getting better, but it turns out that he wasn't.
He died today.
I'm not sure what else to say.
But, maybe, if you want, could you wear purple tomorrow?
It's our school colors and even though I'll be breaking dress code, I'm wearing the Stay Strong T-shirt I have for him.
