A/N: Jeez, you all are VERY protective over Ander. Luckily, so is everyone else.

Shore was headed to the Music Cave when his day took a turn. He spotted a familiar colored dragon lying on the ground. He got closed, and then he noticed the blood coating his sister's scales.

"Ander?" he questioned, rushing to her side. "Ande?" She looked up at him, her face stained with tears. She looked so relieved to see him. "What happened?" He demanded, looking her over. Noting the claw marks on her shoulder, his face contorted in fury. "Who did this?" Ander shook her head.

"I didn't know their names." she offered, sniffling slightly. "They... they just surrounded me and yelled and hit." Parts of Shore's scales burst red in anger as he helped Ander up.

"Well, let's get you to the infirmary," he suggested. "Just tell me what they looked like, and I'll kick their asses." Ander shook her head.

"Do't do that," she insisted. "It was my fault."

"Your fault!? How?"

"They....they said there was something wrong with me." Ander stared at the floor. "Maybe they were right." Shore stared at her in shock before grabbing Ander by the shoulders.

"Ander-gander, you listen to me." he began. "There is nothing- NOTHING, wrong with you. You are one of the most interesting and unique dragons I know, and anyone who disagrees can go jump in a volcano. The dragons that did this are selfish jerks that you shouldn't listen to. They just don't understand you, and are so dumb that the only way they know how to deal with that is by being cruel. There is nothing wrong or weird about you. Understand?" Ander nodded. "Good. Now let's get you patched up."

*~*~*~*~*

A few hours later, Shore and his friends all knew what had happened, and were debating how to find the dragons that had hurt Ander, and how to get back at them.

"I'll kill them." Apple growled.

"Apple, calm down." Ember urged. Apple barked a laugh.

"I am calm." she retorted. Ember opened his mouth to protest, but then Rin walked into the room.

"I'M GONNA FREAKING MURDER THOSE DRAGONS!!!" Rin screeched. "THEY'RE DEAD!" Haze followed in behind her, swinging a pair of swords.

"....Okay I believe you now." Ember whispered to Apple.

"So," Haze questioned. "Whose ready to slice and dice some bitches?" Boysen sighed.

"Haze, you can't just STAB dragons." he reminded her.

"You can if it's self-defense," she objected, pointing a sword at Boysen. "And if they're dead, they can't say it wasn't." Boysen shook his head, but he was smiling slightly at her.

"Well, BEFORE everyone goes crazy and starts murdering somebody," Dusk suggested. "Maybe we should figure out who attacked her."

"Already done!" Orange announced, walking in with Permafrost behind her.

"How?" Orange shot him a deadpan expression.

"Ander said it was a Nightwing, a Mudwing, and an Icewing that hurt her. So, Permafrost and I kidnapped every dragon in the school from those tribes and locked them in a cave." Shore stared.

".....Orange," he began. "Did you seriously just kidnap 3/7ths of our entire school?"

"Yeah." Shore shook his head, faintly smiling in wonder at her.

"Well okay then."
