"And you slowly bring it down like this." Liam explained bringing down the cutting knife. Niall nodded and Liam looked at Niall's face before smiling. "Now you try."
He whispered putting his hands on the kitchen bench beside his blonde boyfriend.
"Ok." Niall chirped leaning back into Liam as he attempted to use the knife.
"Be careful Ni." Liam warned as Niall slowly brought down the knife on the cutting board.
Niall went a bit to fast and froze as Liam grabbed his sides.
"You're doing good Niall. Keep going." Liam encouraged as Niall continued. He then sliced once piece of carrot before smiling widely.
"It did it Lili! I did it!" Liam hugged him tightly around his waist and kisses his cheek before congratulating him. In all honesty, this was nothing to celebrate. But seeing Niall this excited about anything makes Liam feel good inside to encourage him. He just loves to see Niall do well at any mundane task.
"You did princess." Niall blushed and straightened the knife before looking at Liam. He smiled in giggles and Liam slowly pressed his lips to his.
After a few seconds, the high pitched yell at the back of Niall's throat travelled against Liam's lips before they pulled away.
Niall looked down to see he had cut himself and hissed in pain dropping the knife completely.
"Ow!" He whined and Liam took hold of his hand before leading him to the sink.
"That's my fault Niall! I'm sorry! I should have let you finish first but I interrupted you and made you cut yourself!" Liam began babbling on taking full blame as Niall hissed from the water touching the open wound.
"I'll get a band aid! You hold onti this! I'll be right back!" Liam put a hand towel around Niall's hand before leaving the room in paces.
Niall stood there lightly whimpering from the sting. A few seconds later, Liam reappeared with a band aid.
"Here." He slowly took the hand towel away and positioned the band aid over the cut. Concentrating, he put it on before wrapping it securely. "There you go. All better." Niall had to smile at Liam's over protectiveness.
"Thank you." He pulled Liam in for a hug as Liam held him securely.
"Anything for my princess."
