The pavement was empty, it was only Kevin walking down. He stopped at this small café and sat down on one of the chairs of the outside table. Kevin got his phone out;

Kevin got no reply, nevertheless, he waited.

"Hold up Jo, so you and FP cleaned up Jason Blossoms' body and didn't know who murdered him?" Toni questioned, surprised and arrogant.

"Keep your voice down Toni." He muttered, she rolled her eyes as they walked together.

"That's insane, do you think FP's confession was true?" She asked, Joaquin shrugged. "No idea." He told her honestly. She gave a small smile.

"Anyway, your boyfriend- Keller? Risky huh?" She joked, he couldn't help but smile.

"I know.. his dad found out and told me never to see him again.." Joaquin admitted. Toni smirked.

"Classic, Joaquin" He raised an eyebrow at her and she just laughed. Suddenly, when they turned the corner- Joaquin saw Kevin sitting down where he told him he would be.

"Toni, he's here! Just uh, go wait around somewhere?" He asked, she nodded. "Good luck!" She added before running back around the corner.

Joaquin slicked his hair back and breathed in. "You can do this." He told himself, before continuing down the pavement.

Kevin saw him and his eyes widened as well as his smile. Joaquin was about to sit down, but Kevin gave him a massive hug before he even could.

"Missed me?" Joaquin teased, Kevin blushed and smiled.

"Absolutely."

The two boys walked into the small café, and were greeted by a grunt by the cashier. Kevin sat near the back, as far away as possible from the unhappy cashier. Joaquin sat opposite him and gave a small smile.

"So..." Joaquin started, looking at the table as he fiddled with his hands.

"I know, Joaquin.. About my dad knowing you're a serpent." Kevin told him, his eyes widened as he looked into Kevin's green eyes.

"I overheard.." Kevin admitted, Joaquin sighed and smiled a little. Kevin livened up, changing the subject almost drastically.

"Horrible about FP.." Kevin stated, Joaquin nodded guiltily. "Yeah.. I don't think he did I though." Joaquin told him, Kevin looked up at him.

"As hard and grouchy as he seems, I don't think he has it in him to murder." Joaquin told him, Kevin nodded.

Joaquin moved his hand closer to Kevins, as they connected them.

"I love you" The two boys told eachother at the same time, Kevin couldn't help but laugh and Joaquin gave him a chuckle with a smile.
