Chapter 8
Raven's POV:
Standing right in front of me was Ricky, with his arms folded across his chest and smirking at me. I raised an eyebrow at him.
"What do you want?" I asked breathing a little hard.
"Oh just came to say 'hey'. I see you're good at running. You've been running for half an hour straight at full speed and you're not even breathless." he said still smirking at me... ooh he was so lucky that he wasn't in arms reach or I'd slap that smirk off his face.
"Get to the point." I said feeling really frustrated, I was really not in the mood for this. He shrugged and walked away towards Seth who was busy with weights, he was wearing a men's tank top and shorts, and man he looked good weight lifting, he's so hot... WOW wait! NO! He is not hot! He is ugly and stupid and he's a guy... said to myself.
He caught me looking and smirked at me and I just glared back, that man is going to be the end of me if I think like that.... Ugh I knew I should of stayed with my parents... Living a normal life makes your hormones go wild!
After running I decided to do a little weight lifting. I went to the weights section and got two that weighed about 20 pounds each and put it on both hands. I did that for about ten minutes. From across the room I saw that there was a section where there were punching bags and little rubber dummies.
I made my way to that section stayed there for about half in hour practicing my punched and kicks, while all the men there looked at me kind of shocked... I'm guessing women don't come to this section a lot. I decided to go for another run again. And so I did, I programmed it for 45 minutes again and at full speed.
I was there enjoying my run looking towards the pool where little kids were playing around while the swimming coach wanted to teach them. Then suddenly I felt a presence next to me, I looked to my right and glared at the person running next to me, it was Seth. He looked back at me and smirked.
"At least now you get a better view." he said in a teasing voice, I rolled my eyes and ignored him. Then I looked to my left hand side to see Jacob there running to, I just glared at him... What is up with these guys! Why can't they leave me alone?
I decided to ignore them for the rest of my run but I wasn't that lucky, Miss Slut came by to visit 'Boss' next to me and I swear that girl either swallowed a freaken bird or she's just stupid...
"So Boss you going clubbing this weekend?" she asked in a flirty tone, I couldn't help but roll my eyes which I was doing a lot lately.
"Oh I might, I'm not sure." he said and I could hear that he was breathing hard, I looked at him program on the treadmill and it was set exactly like mine, I couldn't help but grin an evil grin.
'He would never he able to run that fast for so long' I thought and I was right because he was breathing really hard.
"Miss Slut went on and on about how she missed him and how the club would be a great way for them to chat and get everything up to date... Yea right... Maybe keep her sex life up to date since she looked so lonely.... After about 10 minutes of that Miss Slut said she had to go, finally.
"Bye Boss." she said winking and giving him a seductive smile.
"Bye Sharon." he said... ha so the slut has a name.
I felt the treadmill going slower and slower and I looked down; my time was up so I got off and started looking for Jamie. I found her by the bicycles.
"Hey Jamie I'm done." I said, Jamie looked at me and she was breathing really hard, she just nodded.
"I'm... almost.... done..." she said between breathes and within seconds she stopped.
"Are you going to take a shower here?" I asked, she nodded, "Yea I am, I take more time going home and coming back since I have to go find my crew, I just nodded.
"Okay well I didn't bring any clothes but I have nothing to do here any way so I'll go home." and with that we said our goodbye's and I jogged to grand ma's house.
While on my way I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched, looked back and saw no one behind me okay weird and I continue jogging but I still had that same feeling....
