Chapter 12
Jamie's POV:
"David shut the hell up. You'll get everyone deaf if you keep singing!" Dick yelled to David who was on the back of his truck singing 'You belong with me' by Taylor Swift and most of the guys that were with him at the back agreed with Dick.
I couldn't help but laugh, even in a bad situation, guys can make you smile and laugh.
"Ugh! You guys are just jealous that I have a great voice!" David yelled with his hand on his chest and his head up high, I swear that boy is gay!
"Jamie you owe me big time." Dick said with amusement, I just gave him one of my big smiles.
After a few seconds we got to my grandparent's house. I got out the truck and ran inside. I walked into the kitchen to find both my grandma and grandpa making out! UGH GROSs!!
"Excuse me but OLD PEOPLE SHOULDN'T MAKE OUT IN THE KITCHEN! IT'S JUST WRONG!" I yelled at them which made them let go of each other, my grandma blushed about five shades of red, and my grandpa just smirked.
Even though my grandparents were old, my grandpa was fit and healthy for his age, and he didn't have a belly like most old men nor was he skinny. He was just right and with a little muscle. And my grandma, well, she looks like a granny model.
I couldn't help but smile at them, just then the gang came in the kitchen, and remembering why I came here sobered me up.
Both my grandparents looked surprised and then raised their eyebrows at me in question.
I sighed, "I think it's time to tell Raven the truth..." I said looking my grandpa right in the eye. I was really sick of lying to Raven and seeing her get hurt.
My grandpa nodded, "And why should we do that?" he asked, I knew he was testing me, trying to see why I wanted to tell her since I was the one that said we shouldn't tell her in the first place.
"It looked like she went into the woods and had an encounter with something she shouldn't have had. The thing left her at Seth's garage paralyzed. Thank goodness Seth had the antidote or she might have been died." I said never braking eye contact with him. My grandpa and I had one thing in common, we're not afraid to look at people straight in the eye.
My grandma gasp in horror and I saw my grandpa's eyes go from emotionless to worry.
"Don't worry she's okay now, she just ended up with a cut in her head but she's got a thick skull. It didn't do that much damage though she should go to the hospital." I said looking at both my grandparents.
"Where is she?" my grandma asked, sounding worried and... guilty... I wonder why she sounded that way....
"She's with Ricky and Seth don't worry they'll be here soon." I said, I was tired of standing up so I leaned against the wall and slid to the ground. I decided to call the group and tell them I couldn't come to practice today and I called Gabe to telling him that I couldn't come to night but maybe tomorrow night.
After those two phone calls I heard the door fly open and Ricky walked into the kitchen, and Seth, right behind him, who was carrying Raven bridle style which totally looked cute... but in this situation I shouldn't be thinking of that!
"Take her to her room now." My grandma said waling in front of them showing the way, sometimes my grandma can be a little bitchie, but she was the Big Lady in this group.
Ricky's POV:
While on the ride to Michael's house I couldn't help but stop thinking of what happened a few hours ago. Seeing Raven on the ground motionless and looking scared hurt me in away... wait it hurt me?... UGH! I've been watching to much soap operas with my mother!
We got to Michael's place and rushed right in. Since Raven fell asleep before we left Seth decided that we shouldn't wake her, we both ended up arguing on who would carry her but since he is the so called 'Boss' I had no choice but to listen to him... Yea sucks...
We got in the house and made our way to the kitchen where everyone was, "Take her to her room now." Michael's wife Jenny said, I obeyed and followed her with Seth behind me.
We went up the stair case and walked along the hall way. We stopped in front of a cream wooden door and Jenny opened the door, I made space for Seth to pass. Jenny went to Ravens made bed and pulled the sheets and quilt back. Seth laid her in the bed and Jenny pulled the covers over her.
We went back down to the kitchen, Michael didn't look happy. He looked at me and then at Seth.
"Did you spread the antidote on her lips?" Michael asked Seth, who just nodded. I couldn't help but feel irritated with Seth, you had to apply the antidote on her lips, not kiss her on her lips!
Michael sighed, "Well I think it's time that Raven knows about our family and experiments...."
When Michael said that I had a feeling that Raven wouldn't like us that much....
