Your POV

Nothing but a gray landscape surrounds me. The world is dead silent.
If it weren't so creepy it'd be peaceful, beautiful even.

I walk forward, truly looking around at my surroundings. Something is extremely off about them. No matter how long I walk, nothing around me changes. I'm locked in a single space.

I walk/run for what seems to be an eternity, until a voice from behind stops me in my tracks.

"Frustrating, isn't it~? To be locked away in the mindscape~."

That voice... it seemed familiar, but i couldn't place it. I turn around to face... myself?

"Oh no, Love. I'm much worse~." She giggled demonically. "You see, everything around us has a counterpart, be it light or dark, day or night, or good or evil. In everything there is a balance. I am your counterpart, (your darkside's name here)."

"Woah woah woah! Slow down there! I mean, h-how could I have a counterpart??? A-Are you like Dark and Anti-"

She rolls her eyes. "Calm yourself. We've been over this. Anti, Dark and the others like them are able to manifest outside the doofuses because millions of people have put belief into their name. I, unlike them don't even get belief from you, so.."

I sigh in relief. The last thing we needed was another.... whatever the hell this thing was on the loose.

She scoffs. "I have a name, you know. Besides the point I suppose. Look, I didn't come here for a friendly chat. I came here to warn you something huge is going to happen. I'm talking apocalyptic huge. Those demons out there, are trying to break free the rest of us. If that happens, literally all hell will break lose. And humans? Gone."

I pause for a moment, why would she be telling me this? "If they're trying to 'break you all out', why help me?"

"Because, you asshat, I can escape on my own without their pity help!"

The landscape glitches for a second. "Fcking hell it's breaking already. Pay attention carefully, you /can/ beat them. There's a way to kill them off for good, but it's extremely risky. Doing so would probably result in the deaths of their 'good' counterparts as well. But there is another way-"

The landscape begins to glitch out uncontrollably, and (Darkside's name)'s words become to jumbled to understand. The world goes pitch black and it's once again silence.
