Henry's POV:

The next day Jared and Mike asked me what I was up to the night before and I told them them truth and they were shocked.

"Yeah I know, but she's not too bad now."

"So so you're all of a sudden friends forever now?" Jared said. "I don't know." I scoffed. I saw Alyssa walk out with her friends. "I'd really like to be more than friends with her." I said eyeing her. "Then go for her."

"Make up your fuckin' mind Mike I thought you wanted her."

"Nah I want you to have her." I looked at him like he was crazy."

"Go ask her out." Mike said. "What?"

"Do it right now. Bet you can't." I couldn't believe this guy. "You serious?"

"Does it look like I'm kidding Henry? Go ask her."

Preparing for rejection I headed over to her looking back at them with regret. This was stupid but whatever.

I awkwardly cleared my throat to interrupt her conversation with her friends. "Um Alyssa..."

She turned around a little confused. "hi, um, I was wondering if you wanna go out sometime." I said akwardly scratching my neck. I felt like a loser. Her friends were giggling and she didn't know what to say.

"Umm sure." She said sounding unsure. It was better than getting rejected. "Oh, uh, sure i'll call you." I smiled. "Okay." she smiled. I walked away with Jared and Mike watching me. "See how easy that was?"

"Yeah well now I have to actually call her and arrange a date I can't do that I'm not good with that stuff."

"Its easier than asking someone out."

This whole thing was so stupid. I did want to go out with Alyssa but I was not good with this stuff.

I was with Meriah shortly after and I wanted to ask her how I should take Alyssa out but I didn't want to embarrass myself. I was more concerned about what she'd think of me than anything.
