Chap. 13 ~ Gio.

DEVIN'S POV

"Psst...Hey!" Apparently somebody was clearly trying to wake me up.

"Dude, wake up!" I groan and keep my eyes closed.

"Wha—" SLAP.

Of course, my eyes shot open then. I go to yell, but a hand is placed over my mouth.

Jamie stands over me with pleading eyes.
"Shh! Listen. Dev, please just listen to me." I nod and he removes his hand.

He cautiously unties me and sits down. He clears his throat and breathes in.

"I-...I don't wanna be here, Devin. He doesn't know who I really am and-and I can't just run away."

I forcefully whisper to him. "Then why are you here, Gio? Huh? What're you doing?!"

He holds his head in his hands and looks at me.

"I didn't mean for it to go this far. I didn't want to end up in the same place but seems like I did anyway..."

I look around and rub my face. "Alright, wel—"

"JAMIE!"

He fearfully jumps up and quickly ties me back up, putting duct tape on my mouth.

"Trust me.", he whispers. My eyebrows furrow and he gets on top of me. I give him a WHAT THE FUCK YOU DOIN? expression and rolls his eyes.

Jake bursts in the room as Jamie grinds his body against mine.

Oh my god. My childhood best friend is grinding on me while my girlfriends ex boyfriend is in the doorway. Today is just full of surprises...

Jake walks towards Jamie, gun in his hand and grabs his hair, making Jamie wince.

"Baby. I thought I was the one in charge? Huh, Jamie? Ain't that what I told you?" Jake looks at me and winks. I may have thrown up a lil but I''ll admit.

"Yes, I'm sorry—I wasn't thinking." Jake runs the gun over Jamie's face and grabs him by the throat.

"Don't let it happen again. Okay?" Jamie nods and I look away, hating to see my best friend, once tough and brooding, so submissive to this prick.

"Good." Jake looks at me and smirks, letting Jamie go. I look past him at Jamie and he nods, mouthing, "I'm fine."

I stare at Jake as he whispers to me. "Becca's waiting on me. Oh man, it's gonna feel so good fucking her."

As soon as those words left his mouth, I thrashed. Doing whatever I could to get loose. Jamie holds his hand up, telling me to calm down.

I bring my attention back to Jake and he smiles. "Perfect. Thanks for your permission." He pats my shoulder and gets up, walking towards the door.

"Not that I needed it anyway." He turns to Jamie. "Make sure he doesn't do anything." Jamie nods and Jake opens the door and leaves.

Jamie waits for a second and turns to look at me, rolling his eyes. "I'm coming damn." He walks over and removes the tape.

"I wanna scream. I really do, Gio. Tell me; why are you with him?" He scratches the back of his head and sighs.

"I really don't know. I'm not even gay! Or bi! Like dude, I'm being bossed around by a coward! Not even a fine ass honey, a coward!"

I laugh and shake my head. "Still hot for the girls I see." He chuckles and his face turns serious.

"Imma get y'all outta here, Devin. I promise. I came down here to see how you were doin' man."

"Nah, you came down here to get some honey that's whatchu came down here for", he laughs and shrugs.

"Yeah, man. That too. Becca—she got any friends orrrrr....?" I punch him and roll my eyes.

"Girl name Casey, but she's taken. I miss you man, I really do. After what happened, I didn't think I'd see you again. It's bgood to see you. Though, I wish it woulda been under different circumstances."

He nods and pushes his hair out of his face. "Yeah I know, but a deals a deal. I'll get y'all out, Devin. I owe you man."

I scrunch my eyebrows and go to say something, but he holds his hand up and puts the tape back on.

"I can't be in here for too long, but trust me, I'll be back."

Gio stands up and walks towards the door, stopping as he puts his hand on the knob. He looks back at me, rolls his eyes with a slight smile on his face and then leaves.

As he leaves, I stare up at the ceiling and "let out" a heavy sigh.
