Sam & Cat & the Haunted Thundermans

Chapter Fourteen: Super Suspiciousness

Billy Thunderman POV

"Woah!" I gasped, as Phoebe pulled me up.

I had just slipped and nearly fallen in a puddle. I saw the wet floor sign, but I chose to ignore it. I mean usually people leave them out for so long that by the time I see it, the spot is usually dry, but not this time. Everybody just stared at me and Phoebe. Phoebe immediately turned to see who she had caught.

"Billy, what are you doing?" Phoebe asked, once she realized that it was me.

"Getting in line for some carrot cake," I answered.

"Did Max tell you to do that?"

"Yes."

"Well, where is he?"

"Right behind us," I told Phoebe, as I pointed to Max who was running towards us, along with Sam and Frankie.

"Woah!" Sam and Frankie exclaimed, as they ran up to Phoebe and I.

"H-how'd you do that?" Sam asked Phoebe.

"Do what?" Phoebe replied nervously.

"Catch Billy without even looking."

Phoebe looked nervously at Max, Nora, and I.

"She probably saw him out of the corner eye," Max told Sam, "Isn't that right, guys?"

"Yeah," Phoebe, Nora, and I agreed.

Sam squinted at Phoebe, Max, Nora, and I.

"What do you guys take me for? An idiot?" Sam asked us, "Phoebe was clearly looking at the menu when she caught Billy. There's no way that she could of saw Billy out of the corner of her eye!"

"Yeah," Frankie agreed, "We were just about to get in line with you guys when we saw it happen."

"I'm getting suspicious, Phoebe," Taylor stated, "Is there something that we don't know?"

"You can tell us anything, Phoebe," Cat stated, "I know that we've only be friends for a short amount of time, but it feels like we've known each other for years."

"Yeah, you don't have to be afraid to tell us anything," Taylor agreed.

"So, is there anything that you guys would like to tell us? If so, spit it out!" Sam demanded.

"Yeah, um... you see, our family..." Nora started.

"Nora, please don't," Phoebe whispered.

"Our whole family has great reflexes!" Nora finished.

"Great reflexes?" Frankie questioned.

"Yeah," Phoebe agreed with Nora, "You see, I could feel the breeze from Billy running, then I remembered the puddle, so I figured that he must of been falling and my reflexes went off and I grabbed him."

"Oh," everybody replied.

"You were running, Billy, right?" Phoebe asked me.

"Yeah," I answered.

"You weren't running fast, were you?"

"No."

"Ok, good."

"I'll take whoever's next!" the cashier announced.

We all turned around to see that all over the people who used to be in front of us were already gone.
