Jack's p.o.v.

I breathed out once I got inside the facilities, thinking of what just happened. I felt my heart getting crushed every time I saw Amy doing something to Mark. Why did I have to fall for him in the first place? I talked to myself as I let out a saddening sigh. Because you're a gay freak, remember? it spoke. I finally got to class and sat at a random seat.

I stared at a weird shaped cloud outside the window I was currently sitting by. It looked a dark tone of grey. It was going to rain, for sure. I sighed happily. Finally I could feel some rain on my face since the last time I was in Ireland. The window was a little opened, and from it I could smell the wet grass and humidity from the air. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

I could sense eyes on me, from somewhere in the room. I opened my eyes and looked towards the other students in the class, to discover the pairs of eyes that decided to settle in my being. I found a pair of chocolate brown eyes behind a dark brown floof, staring at my own. Mark's cheeks turned a little pink and he looked behind me, to what I think is the cloud from before.

"It looks like it's going to rain." He spoke in a low tone. He didn't want to disturb the class, because it looked like the teacher was teaching something important. I nodded in response. I let out a small groan. I didn't bring my umbrella. Fuck.

"What's wrong?" He asked, as he seem to hear my groan. He tilted his head to a side as he kept his eyes on me. I looked at his eyes for a brief second before looking around the class to 2 pairs of eyes, that make me tremble on my seat. It was Miles and one of his friends, who I didn't knew the name of yet. I looked back at Mark before sticking my eyes to the ground.

"I-i forgot to bring an umbrella." I said quietly, hoping the others couldn't hear me talking to Mark. He kinda chuckled at my words. I looked at him, before quickly  wish I didn't. His white teeth showed as he tried to cover it with his hands, a small blush appeared on my face. I look to the teacher tying to act like I was paying attention while my blush died down.

"I've got another one if you need" he spoke sweetly, I looked at him surprised. Would someone actually do that for me? I shook my hand on his offer. "It's in my locker, I have no problem if you borrow it" he said once again. "Unless you, obviously, return it back to its respectful owner" and with that last kind gesture he winked at me, a cute smile on his face.

"I-i don't know, I shouldn't be a burden" I said hoping he would simply take my rejection.

"C'mon, it's not a burden. I'll give it to you after class, don't worry." he told me one last time before turning to look at the teacher again. A satisfying smile now resting on his face. His chocolate eyes looking proudly to the front, back straight. He looks proud for what he did, I heard that he's the class president. He sure fits the role.

I snapped back into reality once I felt something from behind hit my head. it wasn't painful, just hard enough to call my attention. I looked behind me and to the ball paper, that hit me, on the ground. I picked it up and heard snickering from the classmates behind me. I opened it and read. 'Stop looking at him, you gay freak.' It was written in black ink, the word freak rewrote a couple of times above it.

With this I snapped back into reality, paying attention once again to what was written on the board. It seemed like nonsense to me. I sould to focus. Either way, my eyes  turned to the window once again just wanting this class to end. Why is he doing this?

The teacher's voice became louder, trying to announce something important, calling everyone's attention.

"Now, since this is a brand new subject, they're is going to be assignment–" a groan was heard from everyone making the teacher chuckle, "since I see that some are lazy, it will let you decide your partners" every group of friends started looking at eachother whispering about whos going to be their pairs and asking eachother. I sat there, highly doubting someone would choose me as their partner. I looked down at my book when suddenly felt a tap on my forearm, when i looked up a face was inches apart from mine. A charming smile plastered upon its face. Mark.

"Do you want to be my pair?" he asked sweetly. He pushed his glasses up and blinked a couple of times.

"Aren't you going to team up with some of your friends?" I asked quietly, afraid any of them heard me. Then again, I should try to get away from him. I don't want yesterday's beat up to become something usual.

"Oh please, I'm sure they wouldn't mind." he waved his hand towards the direction they were in. I glanced towards the tables they sat, just to receive a cold glare from Cole. A shiver went down my spine, and I looked at Mark once again.

"I-i don't think I should..." I trailed off, fidgeting with a pen I had in my desk. I would love to work with him, but I really shouldn't. What am I going to do? He won't let me go so easily. He grabbed my forearm and pulled on it softly.

"C'mon," he whined "you can come to my house and we'll play some videogames. Please, say yes." he tried to pout convince me. I covered my mouth and chuckled because of how goofy he was being. Actually, it sounds pretty good.

"Okay," he whispered a yes to himself proudly, "but just, don't mention it to your friends. I don't want them thinking I'm taking you away from them" I said softly while docking my head. He nodded and smiled once again. He has such a beautiful smile. Keep on dozing off whimp. I looked back to the teacher as she explained the rest of the practical assignment.

So basically we're supposed to interview more than 10 people about technology and its evolution, with that answers we have to do a pie chart with different colors, percentage, all that. I tapped Marks forearm while he wrote something down, he looked back at me raising his eyebrows.

"When should we get together?" I asked him. He looked at the calendar in his phone and looked up at me.

"How 'bout Friday?" he's voice echoed making my heart skip a beat. I blushed lightly, I nodded and wrote it down in the corner of my notebook. I can't wait. He then tossed a small folded piece of paper. I opened it to find out a series of numbers. "Is this your address?" I asked. He chuckled.

"It's my phone number silly. Send me a message, I'll save your number and send you the address. That sounds good?" he said while leaning against me pointing at the piece of paper I had in my hands. Then turning and looking at me with a cheeky smile on his lips. He's so charming.

"That sounds great" I said while a soft smile upon my face. I hope nothing goes wrong until then, but even so, ill try to keep my distance till then. I couldn't help but notice him still staring at me. I put a hand on my cheek, worried I had something on my face."What's wrong? Is there something on my face?"

"I uh- Nono it's just–" he paused to lean himself into his seat and resting his face on his hand and elbow. "I had never seen you smile that way. It looks good on you" he then smiled back, with a small hint of pink on his cheeks.

I couldn't help but feel my heart flutter. i quickly looked away covering my mouth with my one of my hands, while the other tighten my grip on the pen I was holding. So tight that the sweat on my palm made it slip from my hands onto the floor. I tried calming my blush down before turning around to grab my pen.

"God, I'm- sorry" I turn around to see Mark with the pen already in his hands. He hands it over, out fingers brushing. I jump on my seat. "You didn't have- Thank you" I stumble on my words, he only smiles. Chucking even. I'm such a fool.

"Feels like a deja vu" I said while chuckling "Don't worry about it" he then turned back, looking upfront. I turn to, looking down at the pen once again in my hands. His hands are so soft in comparison to mine. I smile to myself looking at the clouds. The bell rang, and the classes went on and on. Finally on the last class of the day Mark told me to find him at his locker once classes are over.

I simply nodded back at him. I didn't notice i was smiling when I did so. I lifted my hand to cover my mouth, but stopped midway. Maybe he's right, I should try smiling more.
