What if I find no light at the end of tunnel?
What if the tunnel of sadness is never ending?
What if I lose my breath in this journey?
Why can't you see I'm not at all mending?
What if my life is destined to be this way?
What if darkness is what I'll always prefer?
What if I never get away from this mess?
Do you like to see me suffer?
What if I scream and no one comes?
What if no one cares if I'm okay?
What if my wings get torn in middle of flight?
What if some day I stop to pray?
What if they rip me off as I walk?
What if they replace the petals with the thorns you see?
What if my pyre get burned too early than usual?
Would you still prefer not mourn for me?
What if today I speak so much and Tomorrow I won't say a thing?
Would you keep talking to me?
And would I be the songs you sing?
What if I show you my transparent self?
What if you discover I'm not always sugar and honey?
What if I rant you all my pain?
Would your morning still be sunny?
What if someday I stop tolerating everything?
What if I couldn't take this no more?
Would you shed tear drops for me?
Would your nose turn pink and throat sore?
What if I just fall in you arms?
Stay there senseless and sound?
Would you not carry me to my pyre?
Would you throw me to the ground?
What if my heart stops pounding forever?
What if that is what you wanted all along?
You taught me to swim when you wanted me to drown,
Society, I'll always sing this forever song.
