Admin here~
I really enjoy reading all of your comments and feedback on my story, however, I can't help but notice how many times the same comment of "that escalated quickly" appears, so I felt the need to explain myself. I haven't written for this story in a very long time, thus, my previous plans for it have been forgotten; so basically I'm making it up as I go. While writing what's ever on my mind rather than what's on a draft or plan, I tend to get carried away; big parts in a chapter come to me quickly, and without building context for those parts, my brain wants to put them in immediately. Believe me when I say that, in my head, the chapters do not escalate quickly, it's just my fingers can't type as fast as my thought process 😂. So if anything in the previous chapters seem out of the blue or too sudden, this is why. I'm very sorry that it seems like I'm rushing this story; I feel like I owe it to you all to give you chapters as frequently as I can, no matter if they're good or not. For the next chapters, I will try and make the context prior to those big parts understandable so that it doesn't seem so random and sudden. 💕

Regarding commenting on Wattpad overall:

Since I am on the topic of commenting, I really want to talk a bit about some things I've noticed recently. To start, I think a lot of readers take the commenting section on a story for granted. I've seen plenty of unnecessary "criticism" on stories. Fortunately, I've been very lucky to have you all as my readers and have not experienced any hatred towards the My Mai story, ps I love you guys! However, I've seen hate comments on other stories especially when it comes to small grammar mistakes or syntax. Keep in mind that the author probably reads every comment posted, and that hate comments hurt more than we think they do. My advice to you guys is, if you see any hate comments on a story, please let the commenter know that it is hurtful and unnecessary to comment something like that. Not only will you help the author feel better, but you'll help the commenter recognize that hate comments aren't doing anything for anyone. Now, keep in mind, you can bully a bully, so make sure if you do confront a mean commenter, to use the right words.

Anyways, I just wanted to share this quick message with you all; sorry for being very "mom" in that last part. I have started the next chapter but, like I said before, the end of the semester is here and I've been swamped with work. If you are also taking final exams, I wish you the best of luck and I know you can do it!!
