"Mama I'm home!" A Cuban boy with short brown hair and ocean blue eyes only to see his all of his siblings with his mother and father in the living room and crowding around the tv.

"Hey Chlo, what's going on?" The teen boy scooped up his five year old sister as they shared the same blue eyes but she had curly brown hair touching her shoulder blades with brown freckles splashed across the bridge of her nose.

"Ben and misty came home cause mama and papa are worried about the aliens," the youngest of the family looked up at her brother holding onto his shoulder.

"That rumor? Chloe there's no aliens," the brother snorted as he walked to the kitchen with Chloe on his hip.

"Then why where you trying to get into garrisons before?" Chloe asked him as she sat on the counter and he started to do his homework next to her.

"I was trying to get into garrisons to become a pilot, not to look for aliens," he said flatly. It's been a few months since Lance McClain was denied at garrisons to become a cargo pilot. He passed almost all the tests for it except his GPA in school wasn't over a 4.0.

"Do you think it's really aliens lance?" Chloe asked again looking at his marine biology homework.

"I'm not sure if it's really aliens but maybe some sort of life source," Lance shrugged as he wrote down his answers.

"It seems a giant ship has entered our atmosphere! Some alien war ship has appeared in San Diego skies! Take shelter and stay in your homes this is not a drill I repeat this is not a drill!" A woman panicked on the news channel and Lance looked up as his mother covered her mouth in shock and Luke, his youngest brother, and Daniella, the youngest behind him, hugged her brother tightly.

"That can't be real, papa turn on channel 179," Lance quickly made his way to his family as he sat next to his older sister misty and his mother.

His father, John, did so and he saw it was the garrison channel as a scientist was explaining the radio waves from the ship and how it had alien life in it.

"Lance is it really aliens?" Chloe ran over and hopped into her favorite brothers lap.

"Mijo what are they saying?" Their mother set her hand on her third oldests hand.

"Guys it's actually aliens, but they..." Lance listened more.

"LET ME IN!" A voice screamed outside scaring the McClain family as someone pounded on the door.

"Please! Please let me in!!" The voice screamed and Lance gave his sister to their mother and ran to the door with wide eyes.

"Lance stop!" John grabbed his sons arm and Ben stood.

"Papa they need help!" Lance cried out as Ben went to the door and looked through the peep hole but no one was there.

"Benjamin get away from the door!" Their mother, Maria, gasped standing up.

Lance grabbed a wooden baseball bat as John took the family to another room while he and Ben stayed by the door and misty walked over.

"Damn aliens coming into my town? Yea I don't think so," she grabbed a gun from the safe and cocked it by her brothers.

"Open it," Lance nodded holding up the bat.

Ben opened the door and suddenly saw a purple blast fly past their heads.

"Close it close it close it!!" Lance shrieked and misty yelled in surprise when a giant purple alien charged at them and she shot the gun quickly then Ben slammed the door shut.

"What the fuck was that?!" Misty screamed unprepared for the aliens.

"Ok new game plan, this is like fucking Star Wars, this is fucking dooms day or something," Lance ran a stressed hand through his hair.

"I went to college for this?!" Ben threw his hands in the air walking away.

Suddenly the three eldest children heard a window shatter and screaming from the back and a gun shot go off with more screams.

"Mama!!" Lance screamed running back and froze seeing his father on the ground as Maria was sobbing next to her husband and Daniella was holding Luke behind her as tears rolled down all their faces as Chloe was between Luke and Daniella crying the hardest and loudest.

"Ben! Misty!" Lance screamed back and gasped when the alien soldier aimed a blaster at him. He grunted and swung the bat, cracking it across the soldiers jaw and knocking him out the door he crashed through.

"Luke! Dani! Chloe! Get to Ben and misty now!" Lance turned back to them and Dani shuttered a sob as Chloe didn't move.

"Now!" Lance snapped at them all and knelt down to his mother. Dani grabbed Luke as misty hurried them out to Ben. Chloe stood there sobbing uncontrollably as Lance pried at his mother.

"Mom mom we need to go, mom please," Lance had tears in his eyes pulling at his mother as she held onto johns corpse.

"L-Lancey..." Chloe cried.

"Mom! Mom come on!" Lance started to cry pulling on his mother.

"Get your siblings out of here mijo, go get help," Maria sobbed quietly bringing Lance close.

"Protect your sister," she kissed his cheek and Lance looked at Chloe. And looked back at the soldier getting up as pink blood trickled down his chin.

"Mama no," lances voice whispered.

"Go mijo!" She pushed him away as she held onto johns hand tightly. Lance shakily got to his feet and shuffled to Chloe as she clung onto Lance.

"Come on baby, let's go find the others," Lance kissed her head as Chloe gripped his shirt tightly sobbing into his neck.

"Down on your knees," a voice growled behind Lance as he was backing away but a cold weapon pressed against his back and Chloe shrieked.

"Down!" Lance glanced back seeing yellow eyes lol keeping down at him and he obeyed silently gripping onto his baby sister and Maria was thrown with them cussing with Spanish flying out of her mouth.

"Silence woman!" Maria was slapped across the face and Lance was about to get up to fight back but the gum smacked across the back of his head bringing him back to the floor with Chloe in arms.

"Lance!" Chloe wailed and Lance shushed her softly as he stayed on the ground and Maria was unconscious.

"Mama wake up..." Lance prayed under his breath.

"Take them to the prison," was the last think Lance heard before everything went black with Chloe still in his arms.
