The power was still down the next day at the high school, something that helped my mind stay calm and keep it from thinking about the events that took place last night. Events that kept me confused and I didn't know how to ask them for help. To clear things up for me and help me close this and move on.

I groaned loudly as I opened the door to my locker and threw the books I needed into my bag. I almost had a heart attack when I closed it and saw Stiles standing there with a huge grin on his face. He laughed at my reaction, "Did I scare ya?"

"Who hurt you?" I narrowed my eyes at him, only making his smile grow bigger. I rolled my eyes and walked passed him, heading to class. He caught up with me and placed his arm on my shoulders, "Oh, come on, it was a little funny."

I elbowed him in the stomach lightly, he let out an 'oof' and I grinned up at him, "Oh, come on, it was a little funny!"

"You're funny."

All of a sudden Coach's voice surrounded us through the bullhorn he was holding against his mouth, "Class starts in five minutes! Just because there's no power, don't expect there to be no school!"

"That was a triple negative. Very impressive, Coach!" Stiles said.

I skipped ahead into Coach's classroom and took my regular seat next to Kira, she looked as confused as I felt, "Hey, how're you feeling?"

She turned to me with an unsure look, not really knowing what she was feeling at the moment or how to explain what had happened, how to talk about it. With my brows raised and my mouth curled downward, I let out, "Same."

I grinned, happy with myself when she let out a chuckle, even if it only lasted for a moment. I followed her gaze when she glanced up and noticed her looking at Scott whispering with Stiles and trying to discretely glance her way. Trying was the key word here. It was way too obvious.

I scrunched up a piece of paper into a ball and threw it at the back of Stiles's head, it landed by Coaches' desk and Stiles turned around to find the one responsible. He glared at me but then rolled his eyes when I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Who did this?" Coach spoke loudly as he bent down and picked up the small paper ball. He held it between his thumb and index finger, looking around at each and every one of us.

"Stiles did it, Coach," I said with a big grin, causing Stiles to turn around so fast he almost fell off his chair. He shot me a 'wtf' look and that only made my grin grow, causing my cheeks to burn.

"Stilinski!" Coach exclaimed annoyed.

Kira didn't talk much as we walked alongside each other on our way to lunch, a distant look in her eyes as if deep in thought. It was a good thing I was there or she would've run into every single person passing us. She stopped abruptly outside the cafeteria causing my brows to furrow and look at her with concern, "What's wrong?"

"Uh, nothing, I just-" She started but before she could finish her sentence, Scott approached her with Stiles by his side.

"Kira, hey," He spoke nervously, his eyes flickering to me quickly and then back to Kira, "Can I talk to you? Alone?"

"Yeah, sure," She said and flashed me a reassuring smile when she noticed my raised brow.

I looked over at Stiles and that silly side smirk appeared on his face, I rolled my eyes and groaned, "Ugh, come on."

After getting our food we took a seat at one of the tables at the back, further away from the rest of the students.

"So, why exactly did you decide to frame me?" Stiles asked the second we sat down.

"I mean, someone had to take the blame, sorry," I said with a grin and shrugged. He shot me a glare and waited for me to answer seriously. I sighed, "Because both you and Scott kept whispering and staring over at Kira and it was making her feel worse than she already did."

"We were not staring!"

"Dude, you literally stopped blinking," The spastic movements that occurred as I finished that sentence were hilarious, but now was not the time for me to break out laughing. I really have to get better at controlling my emotions. I cleared my throat and continued, "So, if you think about it, you deserved Coach's wrath."

"No one, no one, deserves that."

"Don't you think it was-" I began and took a bite of my apple.

"Don't say it."

"At least a little bit-"

"I swear to God, don't-"

"Funny?"

He exhaled loudly with his eyes wide and focused on mine, "She said it."

"She sure did," I said pleased with myself.
