When Scott and Kira returned a little while later, she had a huge grin on her face and her eyes shined with excitement.
"We did it. All the pics deleted!" Scott said as they reached us.
"That was awesome!" Kira exclaimed causing all of us to look at her surprised, "I mean, terrifying. Completely terrifying...but kind of awesome! I've never done anything like that before! Have you?"
The boys shared a look before Stiles spoke, "Yeah, once or twice."
Scott cleared his throat and placed all his attention on Kira, "Uh, hey, you don't want to go to a party, would you?"
"Um..." She glanced at me quickly, I was nodding so hard I thought my head was going to fly off. Stiles followed her gaze and raised an eyebrow. I stopped what I was doing and turned my eyes to the front, pretending to be watching something interesting. I could almost feel him rolling his eyes at me. "Yeah, sure!"
"We'll see you guys there, "Stiles said and Scott nodded, making his way to his dirt bike with Kira following suit. He turned to face me, "You are so weird."
"Ugh, tell me about it!" We stared at each other and the silence surrounding us was suddenly deafening. All I could hear was my heart pounding violently in my ears and I was finding it hard to breathe properly.
Stiles cleared his throat and leaned back against the seat, blinking more than necessary. "We should probably get going."
I nodded and smiled, afraid that if I opened my mouth to speak I would only start to ramble.
When the doors to the loft where the party was being held at opened, my jaw dropped. The room was spacious and packed with dancing teens. Their painted bodies and faces glowing in the darkness. The music so loud that you wanted to get lost in it. I exhaled the breath I'd been holding, "This is incredible."
"Wow," That was the only thing Kira was able to say at the moment, she was just as amazed by the scene in front of her as I was.
"-but it's just a key, right?" We turned to look at the boys coming up next to us.
"But it's not my key! I don't know where it came from or whose it is," Stiles exclaimed with confusion.
"Do you want to leave and figure this out?"
"I-" Before Stiles could even start his sentence, a random girl appeared and kissed him on the cheek, leaving a mark from the paint.
