I groaned in annoyance as I walked into the kitchen to join the rest of the group. They were all gathered around the dinner table, deep in thought.

I plopped myself down on one of the chairs and let out another groan, "He might still be hot but he's starting to annoy me."

I looked up and noticed all of them giving me strange looks. My brows pulled together and I shook my shoulders, "What? He is."

"Anyway," Lydia said as she rolled her eyes at me and turned her attention to Deaton, "The scroll said to change his body, right?"

"That's if I translated it correctly," He let out a small sigh, "We're looking for a cure in something that might actually be nothing more than a proverb or a metaphor."

"And what if he doesn't want it? He's never asked to be a werewolf," Scott added.

"What if it saves his life?" I asked making him turn toward me.

"What if it kills him? I've never done this before," Worry was clear in his voice, "I mean, what if I bite him and accidentally hit an artery or something?"

Deaton glanced towards the living room, "The venom is not going to last long. Something needs to be done sooner than later."

"I could try calling Derek again."

Lydia spoke up before Scott could make the call, "Maybe we should call someone else."

That someone else turned out to be Derek's crazy uncle, Peter Hale.

He stood behind the couch, staring down at Stiles, "He doesn't look like he would survive a slap across the face, much less the bite of a werewolf."

"You don't think it would work?" I hear Scott ask.

"This is more a war of the mind than the body, there are better methods to winning this battle."

"What kind of methods?" I ask.

"We're going to get into his head," He says as if it's completely normal and something he does every day.

Peter walks around the couch and stops next to Scott in front of it. He grabs Scott's wrist causing him to flick his claws out.

I notice the Nogitsune looking intrigued by this, raising one of his brows.

Peter continues, "Scott is going to try and dig through pale and sickly Evil Stiles mind to unearth pale and sickly Real Stiles. Then guide him back from the depths of his own unconsciousness."

"But-" He says causing me to roll my eyes. There's always a but, isn't there? "He's not going to do it alone."

"What do you mean?" Scott asks confused.

"Somebody needs to go in with you," Peter turns to look at Lydia.

"And what do they do when they find him?" I speak up.

"Well, they're going to have to guide him out somehow. Try to give him back control of his mind, his body."

Lydia sighs, looking back at him annoyed, "Could you elaborate on the 'somehow'? It's not feeling very specific at the moment."

He looks back at her with a sarcastic smile and shrugs his shoulders lightly, "Improvise."

My brows frown as I watch the Nogitsune not looking very bothered by any of this, "What if this is just another trick?"

Peter groans, "When are you people gonna start trusting me? I don't even know you," He says, motioning towards me.

I stare at him with my brows raised, slightly amused by his little outburst and point to Stiles, "I meant him."

"Oh," Is all that comes out of his mouth.

"Scott, we're running out of time," Deaton says.

Scott sighs and follows Peter and stands behind the couch between Stiles and Lydia.

Peter positions Scott's claws on the back of both the Nogitsune and Lydia's necks.

Scott's eyes glow red and he shoves his claws in.
