I wake up to the sound of my brothers voice "Get up , come on it's Clary's birthday "
I put the pillow over my head , blocking out his voice before replying
" Simon please just 2 more minutes" I groan .
It's my brothers best friends birthday today .
"That's it , I'm leaving without you I'll see you in a while" he gets up and leaves , not even closing the door behind him .
A while later , I'm sitting with Simon in a coffee shop waiting for Clary to tell us whether she Got into her dream college.
The door opens and in comes Clary , a frown on her face as she slowly walks over to the table
I say to her slowly " well did you get In?" .
She sits down, and takes a deep breath before smiling
" i got in " I smile widely , happy for my friend.
"I'm so happy for you oh and happy birthday . How are we going to celebrate". I take sip of my coffee and wiggle my eyebrows .
I glance at Simon , who has that angry look on his face . The one where he will tell me his opinion of how bad i'm acting or his opinion on what I'm doing .
" your too young Oli " .
I try to reason with him
" ohh please I'm 17 where are you going"
"Pandemonium " Simon replies .
You see most of time they still treat me as if I'm thirteen , yet I'm 17.
"Well I'm going , whether you like it or not "
Simon takes a gulp of his coffee and sighs knowing I'll keep trying .
" Okay fine " Simon replies .
" Thank you . When are we going ?" Clary finishes her coffee and places a tip on the table
" Now "
