Oli's POV:

After Simon met up with us, we arrived at Clary's house.
Clary stoped and her eyes looked over the runes all over his house. " wow , I don't remember it like this " Alec's eyes went to heaven before replying to Clary" they're protection wards made by a warlock "

Simon suddenly started tracing the ruins with his finger and I have no idea how Simon can be seeing this right now.
"hey Clary what are all these runes ?" Questions Simon .
Alec looks pointedly at Simon" wait you can see them ?"
Simon chuckles " yeah kind of hard to miss , because they are literally everywhere . "

Alec adjusts the bow on his shoulder and questions Simons. " they're only visible to a shadowhunter , they should be invisible to most mundanes, so when did you get the sight " Simon looks around at us all" I don't know " .

I was tracing one that was the main shadowhunter rune when Clary says " remember when me and Simon got married oh my god " I laugh and ask them " when did you get married " Simon goes to answer but Alec interrupts him " I don't want to hear the story " Simon shrugs his shoulder and continues" we were 8" Clary traces it " that was a whole world ago " .

Clary goes to open the door but it's locked , she tries , tries and tries again but can't get it . Simon steps in front of her " let me try " and opens it within a second , both Alec and I scrunch our eyebrows . How can he have such strength ? Simon can't even lift up a weight in the gym. Simon holds the door open for me and Clary " after you girls " Alec goes to walk in but Simon stops him and smiles " after me" .

I let out a little laugh as I follow them towards Clary's room and believe it or not, it's burned to pieces . There's nothing left .
Simon tells Clary " who torched your loft ?" .

Clary walks over to a picture on her night stand , black smoke covers the picture. However I can faintly see a man in an army uniform. She walks over to her drawings and packs them into her backpack

Alec paused behind me" Your Mom must have erased your belongings so no one can track you " .

As Simon was walking around the room, he hears a creek in the floor " hey Clary , this floor board. they sound different in these two spots " Simon bends down and picks a piece of wood out of the floor , can this get any more interesting? .

Alec bends down. He reached downwards into the hole and finds a box. Alec hands it to Clary who opens the box slowly and finds inside a baby shoe and a lock of hair. " I don't know what these are ". We were focused on the box when we heard rustling noises downstairs and something falling over.
Alec looks around frantically and then gives me a dagger " you're coming with me , get what you need and you two stay here and don't make a sound Until we back " .

We slowly walk toward the noise. Alec put his back behind the door and Runs outside to where there is rustling in the bushes. He held his arrow and I held my dagger . I hold my dagger out towards out potential circle member when out of the corner of my eye I see a wolf run past us.

Alec and I chase after it when Alec stops because it was running around us in circles and making noise in different spots at the same time trying to confuse us . He jumped from up on the balcony and runs through the alley . Alec shoots at it but it runs away .

In the alley, I see Clary and Simon getting shoved into a car by men . My first instinct is to run and shout " CLARY, SIMON!" But I was too late , they were shoved in the car . Clary makes eye contact one last time with fear in her eyes and she was gone. " Alec?" I whisper , he looks at me as if he forgot i was there " I don't know what to do Oli " .
