A promise

Oli's POV:

I arrive through the portal into a room. Behind Magnus, a man appears with a sword .Magnus furrows his eyebrows coming closer to me  " are you okay?" He asks                                                                                I whisper " Magnus behind you " .

He turns quickly and pushes me behind him. Magnus pushes the shelf down, in front of the man. However, he quickly steps over the shelf, edging his way over to us. He gets in a fighting stance " your magic is strong warlock , much stronger than the weekling, I killed this morning " .                          Magnus shoots magic towards his head but the man ducks " I see you have someone we want " Magnus looks at him and shoots again .The man smirks menacingly  " you know the guy cried before I took his warlock mark , cats eyes would be a nice edition to my collection " .

The man suddenly gets shot in his leg with an arrow , I turn around and see Alec and smile , he smiles back.
" well done "  Alec says to Magnus , smirking . Magnus turns around and replies with " more like medium rare " . I try to hold in a laugh but I can't.  Magnus gives Alec a smile " Im Magnus , we've never been formerly introduced " Alec smiles back ,there's something in Alec's eyes that I can't pin point . " Alec "                                                                                                                                             They stare at each other for a few seconds before Alec cuts the tension  " we um, s-should get going "  Magnus turns swiftly and walks out the door, as I watch him make his way to where Clary could be heard.                                                                                                           

" I'll do anything to save my mother " Clary stands up angrily, the second I step into the room.  " okay, come with me pretty boy get your team ready "  Jace begins to walk but Magnus stops him and says " I was talking to you " and points to Alec " come with me ". I walk over to the group and nudge Alec with my elbow, doing wiggly eyebrows and give him a wink. He just glares at me . Izzy says to Alec " hmm Alec attracting guys know?" He just glares at the both of us as we're laughing .

I look at Izzy and whisper " Alec has an admirer " she laughs and says " i know , it's actually very cute " Alec stands straighter around Magnus and his face seems a lot brighter. I turn to Izzie " he blushes a lot around him "Izzie giggles as we look at her older brother that looks happy for once.

" come on let's go to Clary" . Jace comes strolling in. We walk into the room to see Clary down on her hands and knees, drawing on the ground.  " she's drawing to summon the demon , might take an hour or so " Magnus explains the situation we walked into to. Because I have time to spare, I might go to Raphael and ask him about Simon . " I'm going on a walk guys " Jace looks at me and nods his head."  be careful " I'm already walking out the door when I shout " I will  " .

I've been walking for 15 minutes and I've walked around the same blocks twice in a row. Now I'm walking around this area helplessly trying to remember where Hotel Dumort is. I take a left and low an behold there is a run down Hotel with a poster that reads Hotel Dumort.

I walk around to the back entrance . How can I grab Raphael's attention when there is multiple vampires in this building who would love to drink my blood . You know what I'm actually going to whisper his name . It might work " Raphael , Raphael " I got no answer , I decide to say it louder " Raphael " . I hear the door move and a gust of wind blows past me. I look behind me and see Raphael ,  his skin is much more brighter than before and his black suit is gorgeous on him and he has socks on with no shoes and his eyes are the bright brown. I can't help but notice the every detail about him. " what are you doing here?" He says through gritted teeth. I give him a look that says 'really' . " I came here because I need your help , I mean it is your FAULT!" I shout . He takes a step back . " okay okay what's wrong ?"  . I take a deep breath " ever since that night you kidnapped us , Simon has been experiencing things that are similar to a vampire . His friend dropped his picture and cut her finger , he ended up licking it and enjoying it " He curses angrily " he's just experiencing these because he drank Camille's blood in 74 hours he should be okay and back to normal " he says it calmly . I glance at him and then sit on the curb, the busy day taking its toll on me ." thank god , I was scared because I wouldn't know what to do and how to tell my Mom that one of her daughters could possibly not be her daughter and how I've to fight a man called Valentine and Magnus is acting weird towards me lately and I'm finding out all of these things at once and I just can't take it anymore " Raphael looks at me with apologetic eyes and does something I was not expecting , he sits down next to me and puts his arm around me in comfort. I smile, but feel the need to cry. 

I can see the dark ground, but as he adjusts his arm so I can lay my head on his chest, the tears come out and I bury my head in Raphael's Chest . I giggle as I cry, because here I am. Crying into a strangers chest who happens to be a vampire. For the next few minutes,  I just cried and cried while he comforts me

After awhile I stopped crying and just lay my head on his shoulder and it was silent, but a nice silent. As if we were each others comfort.  I look at my watch and notice its been an hour  " I should get going " I stretched my arms and fixed my hair and dab at my eyes. . I smile at him , for the first time ever he smiles a smile that shows his dimples  " you're very cute when you smile Raphael , you should smile more "  He pulls me into a hug, I stand there in shock then hug back .
" promise me something ? Promise me you'll be okay and that you'll come visit me when you want " I nod my head and leave , he waved me off and said "hasta Leugo". As he walks into the hotel,  I turn back around " hasta leugo bitch " .

When I arrived back at Magnus' all I could do was smile . I knock on his door and Jace answers it " come on In , you just made it on time "

We all walk in to the room and on the floor is a drawing of a diamond with other shapes surrounding it . " Jocelyn's right , your artistry is beyond compare " Clary looks at him " I don't think so " Magnus smirks " you're wrong, the only other person I knew who has such artistry was Michelangelo, excellent in bed I might add " I scoff as he looks at Alec. and Izzy just laughs .

Magnus stand infront of us " you ready ? Okay everyone take their place on the pentagram . " I stand between Izzy and Clary . This bond Cannot be broken until the demon retreats , no matter what happens we better not let go of each other's hands " Magnus holds Alec's hand then Jace then Clary then me and then Izzy and Magnus again . When we all did it, there was a magnetic power consuming me , it's like I got pushed back when the link was connected.
" I will lead the ceremony and you must do exactly what I say , the demons name is Valack and at some point he will ask for exchange for Clary's memories " .

We all look at each other and nod " let's begin " Magnus calls the Demon and speaks in Latin . All of a sudden Izzy's necklace makes noise and starts to glow red " the necklace is sparking " . We all look up and this black cloud comes down. As it comes down it is extremely hard not to break the bond , my hands feel like they're slipping out of Izzie's hand. " the demon is beyond us , do not break the bond " Magnus screams , Izzy looks at me and mouths" try " . I hold on even harder . Magnus looks at us " the demon wants payment , we all must give the memory of the person we love the most " Izzy' goes first and it shows Alec smiling . I'm next and in the demon it shows a picture of Clary and Simon laughing but quickly changes to me and Raphael hugging , I blush .

Next is Alec and it shows Izzy but it changes to Jace. " no ,no , that's not true , the demon deceived me " .
Magnus shouts at  Alec " don't break the bond " Me and Izzy Shout at Alec too  " Alec it's okay, Alec ? Alec" Alec's hands start to slip and Alec breaks out of the pentagon, the power of the bond broke instantly. "ALEC" . The demon got angry and pushes us .

I let go of Clary's and Izzy's hand . I got pushed into the wall and hurt my back, I take a deep breath as I land on the ground. I sit up and take a few deep breaths.

I see that Jace is stuck in the demons cloud and everyone is trying to pull him out , and Clary lifts up a sword she ran at it , and killed it but that means if the demon's dead so is Clary's memories . Great! I look at Jace and he's out cold on the floor , they're all trying to wake him up and he jumps up , breathing heavy.  " I'm alright I'm alright " Izzy smiles and hugs him then looks at me walking over to Jace.

She helps me walk over to Jace , I smirk at him sitting down beside him " and Captain America survives yet again " Alec helps him stand up as he smirks at my comment " does anyone ever understand what you say ?" I shrug my shoulders and Magnus called from the other room " I know that reference " I laugh , he quoted Avengers!
