Words: 1000 (i literally swore that I had planned for this to be short)

A/N: Sorry for the long wait on this! I didn't edit this at all. I'll edit it eventually but for now, I apologize for any grammar, spelling, cringey mistakes lolol

Changbin sat at the dorms one afternoon trying to fix a piece of music that he had accidentally messed up on. Frustrated as is, he set his laptop down and walked to the kitchen to grab a drink and calm himself down. He was sipping his drink when Hyunjin walked in through the door; confused, Changbin set his cup on the counter.

"Hey man, where did you go?" Changbin didn't remember Hyunjin ever leaving the dorms.

"Oh I went to go drop off y/n."

Changbin frowned, why was Hyunjin with y/n? "What do you mean you were with y/n?" Changbin asked skeptical and suspicious of the idea of the two of them being together.

Hyunjin stopped in front of Changbin and frowned, confused as to why Changbin would even ask. "It's the day of y/n's surgery... Don't you remember?"

"Well obviously I don't remember because I didn't even know about her surgery. What surgery?" Changbin asked slowly becoming frustrated because of the lack of information, but also apprehensive because of what he was about to find out.

Hyunjin's eyes widened as he put the pieces together. Changbin never found out about y/n's plan. "Y/n didn't tell you, did she?"

"Tell me what?" Changbin exclaimed, exasperatedly throwing his arms up in the air. "Hyunjin, I swear, if  you had just dropped off y/n to go get the surgery that I hope to God she isn't actually getting then-"

"She's going. Hyung, she's going to go get her flowers taken away." Upon hearing this information, Changbin's eyes widened. Stepping forward, he grabbed onto Hyunjin's shirt and yanked him closer.

"You're going to take me to find y/n this instant; you're going to take me to her right now or else I swear y/n won't be the only one to lose any sense of feeling," Changbin threatened. He didn't mean to pose such a threat to Hyunjin, but he was so scared of what was about to happen. Changbin didn't want y/n to lose her feelings, especially since he had just found out a way to get rid of them without surgery. Hyunjin frantically nodded before grabbing his things and heading out the door, Changbin following closely behind on his heels.

Changbin burst through the doors of the office building only to see you disappearing through a set of doors with your shoulders slumped down. Changbin began to chase after you, calling out your name.

Behind the doors, you stopped following the lady taking you towards the surgical room. You felt nervous, but what had also stopped you was the sounds of commotion and a deep voice yelling behind you.

Turning around, you were confused as there were only a pair of doors, but as you stood a little longer, the doorway burst open, Changbin rushing forward. His face became elated when he saw that you were okay and hadn't gone in to do the procedure yet.

"Y/n," Changbin breathed reaching forward to grab and pull you into his arms.

"Changbin, what are you doing here?" You asked, your voice muffled by his chest. Changbin disregarded your question as he continued to hug you. He had been so terrified that you were going to complete the procedure and lose your emotions.

"Y/n, babe, I found a way. I found a way to get rid of the flowers," Changbin said letting go of your body and holding onto your hands.

"What do you mean? I thought that there wasn't a way to get rid of the flowers?"

"There is. My flowers - they're gone. They've been going away for the past week," Changbin insisted, his grip of your hands tightening as he tried to persuade you.

Behind you, the nurse coughed to get your attention. "Um, excuse me, ma'am. But if you're ready then please kindly make your way into the room-"

"No," Changbin interrupted. "Y/n, please don't go. You don't have to do the surgery. Please, you can get rid of the flowers but still keep your emotions. Please, y/n."

"But Changbin, what if that way doesn't work? I'm tired of the pain, it only gets worse and I can't keep waking up in the middle of the night only to keep throwing up flowers. It hurts, Changbin. It hurts so much," You explained to him, tears welling up in your eyes.

"Please y/n. Just trust me on this, you can do it. We can work through this together, just trust me. Don't go through with this. If you lose get rid of your emotions, then I don't know what I would be able to do. I just want to see you be happy again, to see you genuinely laugh, smile and do so much more. You can't do all that without your emotions. I want to show you what it means to love again without having to be hurt every day by some stupid flowers," Changbin said resting his forehead against yours. "Please just trust me on this."

You closed your eyes as you felt Changbin's place his hand on your cheek. You wanted to get rid of the flowers and the pain so badly, but if Changbin was right then maybe you could love Changbin with all your heart, and love him genuinely. Slowly nodding, you opened your eyes and agreed. "Okay, I trust you," you whispered. Changbin broke out in a smile, obviously ecstatic about your agreement.

Changbin wrapped his arms around your waist and lifted you up spinning around. When he finally set you down, he pressed his soft lips against your all the while smiling. The two of you would get through this together, he would make sure not to let you down. Changbin would do anything to make sure that you would never be hurt by love ever again.
