Sat in front on the ground with only the warmth of the fire burning in front of you to keep you warm, tears fell down your face in a constant stream as the clock passed 9 o' clock.
You wanted to leave, and to run away. But you couldn't. Of course you loved Lee Minho; every single fiber in your body was yearning to sprint to the library and tell the prince that you were ready to go.
But something was holding you back.
Sitting alone in the library in front of his own fireplace, Lee Minho couldn't help but let out his own sobs of sadness. The girl he had loved so dearly, never displayed her own love and affection for him either.
The next day, Minho was walking on his way to a meeting when he saw you in the hallway carrying a pile of towels. As he made his way down the hallway, he couldn't help but just stare at you. For a split second, your eyes met, before you quickly averted your eyes and continued on your way with your chin held high. Minho's heart couldn't help but break even more. Had you really not acknowledged that he was there? All this time, had it just been a game to you? Minho wanted to scream; he wasted so much time on you. He should have known better than to be involved with anyone less than a princess.
Shaking his head angrily, he stalked down the hallway to his bedroom where he threw his door shut.
At the other end of the hallway, you were hid behind a wall, quietly letting the tears fall. It hurt you to see Minho, but you could only imagine how he had felt.
