I hate that Lust guy. He made Ink so uncomfortable, yet I had seen something in Ink's beautiful eyes as he had watched Lust swagger away.

I tried taking him to the park to get his mind off Lust but he had gone distant. So, we said our goodbyes and he went home.

I kicked the ground on my own way home, worried about Ink. I just hope our encounter with his ex hadn't upset him overly much.

Oh, Ink, I hope you're okay...

I rubbed my head, leaning on the counter in front of me while I finished my fifth-ish beer. Grillby, the red-headed bartender, came over and stood in front of me.

"Another, Grillby," I told him. He handed me another but frowned at me.

"What happened, Ink?" he asked concernedly, his Irish accent tinting his words. I shot him a look, taking a sip of my sixth-ish beer.

"What do you think happened, Grillbz?" I rolled my eyes, sitting unsteadily on my stool, "I'm a fool. A stupid fool."

Grillby said nothing, so I elaborated, "I'm an idiot in love. But I'm in love with two people for two reasons. One of them I can't stand and one of them I can't touch." Lust's parting touch on my shoulders tingled as I hunched my back, "I'm so stupid. I can't even figure out my own goddamn feelings."

"Do you want me to call anyone?" Grillby asked after my little rant. Shaking my head, I stopped at the dizzy feeling.

"I don't wanna talk to anyone right now, Grillby," I grumbled, staring angrily into the depths of my beer. It swirled around the glass in a mesmerizing way.

"Let me know if I can do something," he said softly before walking away. Raising my glass to him, I nodded as I took another swig.

"Hey there, hun~," said a red-lipped blond who snuck up behind me. I glared at her, turning my back on her.

"Leave me alone, miss," I grumbled. Her hand rubbed my arm and I threw it off, glaring at her some more.

"Back off," I growled. She pouted at me, leaning in close.

"Aw, hun, I wanna cheer you up~" she cooed, running a finger along my arm. A hand reached forward and yanked her arm away.

"You deaf? He said back off," growled a familiar voice. The girl scoffed, walking away. Someone sat down next to me. I glanced at them and groaned internally.

"I don't wanna be near you either," I grumbled, hunching over my bottle, "but thanks."

"No problem, Ink," Lust said. We sat in silence for a while.

"I've missed you," Lust ran his hand over my arm. I just kind of stared at it, feeling wobbly with my sixth-ish beer almost gone. My gaze made its way up as I stared unsteadily into his warm purple eyes. I enjoyed the touch. I've wanted this kind of closeness with Error, and Lust felt so familiar...

"Like hell," I growled, tearing my eyes away. His hand rubbed my back soothingly.

"C'mon, Ink, I know you have too," he whispered, rubbing a small circle on my back. His familiar touch tingled and I let out a little sigh. It had been so long since I've had this kind of contact.

"Yeah yeah," I finished my beer and hailed Grillby for another. I turned to face Lust only to find his purple eyes and purple lips very close to my face. His lip piercing gleamed in the soft light of the bar, twinkling like a little star on his pale face. His lavender hair hung low, close to his eyes.
