A Letter From Sunset

It was several days after Garrett had met Flurry Heart. Twilight walked on over to the Ponyville Music Room. She was carrying the journal that she usually used to communicate with Sunset Shimmer when she was in the human world. It was the end of a practice for the Ponyville Choir, and Garrett was putting his music away. Twilight entered the music room and said, "Hey Garrett." He turned around and said, "Oh Hey Twilight. What's up?" He smiled at her. Twilight lifted her magic journal and said, "I got a message from your sister. Want to read it?" Garrett immediately got curious and nodded. Twilight opened the book, and they read the letter. Sunset's letter said the following,

Dear Princess Twilight,

It is with great pleasure that I announce that all the magic that's been running amuck in the human world has officially been collected and taken care of. Now that my long mission is over, I've now decided to go back to Equestria where I belong. I'm especially looking forward to seeing my little brother Garrett again. I do hope to make up for lost time with him. I'll be back in the castle tomorrow afternoon. I hope to see you and Garrett there. It'll be nice to see some old friends.

As Garrett read each and every word, he got more and more excited. His sister was coming home! "This is so exciting!" he said as he leapt with joy. "I know, I can't wait either!" Twilight said happily. Garrett then hugged Twilight. They both smiled.
