"Hyung told me you wished for a mother duck to find her babies?" Chan asked, as he was squatting beside her bed.

Yoru laughed, it was kind of funny now that she thought of it.

"Yeah..."

"How kind of you noona!" Chan grinned

"Nah, I'm nothing near kind actually..." She giggled

Chan looked at her as she tried covering her mouth.

And at that moment, he understood why his hyung looked so happy when he returned back into the amulet.

Everything seemed so perfect when it comes to her, Chan thought this was alluring.

"What do you want to do today Chan?" The girl asked

Meanwhile, Chan was staring. Like he was watching a new dance of Michael Jackson. It couldn't be described, he was in a trance.

"Why are you staring at me the way Vernon does?" Yoru innocently asked

Chan shook his head sideways, shaking the feeling off.

"I think it's Monday tomorrow, let's enjoy the weekend you have left." Chan suggested and Yoru immediately agreed.

"Why don't you guys have like, smoky legs or something..." Yoru asked

Chan looked at her in confusion, "Smoky legs?"

"I saw some movies that have genies in them, they kind of have mermaid-ish legs with no fins..." Yoru tried to explain as best as she could

"Oh..." Chan said in acknowledgement

"Those are just fictional Yoru noona, this is real life." Chan chuckled

"You know, I wonder why you call me 'noona' when you're a thousand years older than me but still look young..." Yoru asked

"We age slower than humans..." Chan said

"So, every century?" Yoru guessed

"You are correct."

"Wow, such a long time..."

"True."

"So, you never tried any outdoor games or activities?" Yoru asked

"Noona, I'm a genie. I'm stuck inside an amulet for centuries with magic only for personal needs..."

"Right." Yoru slapped herself in stupidity

"Then let's go to a pet store!" Yoru grabbed Chan's hand as they both walked inside.

"How do you think of the puppies?" Yoru asked the grinning Chan

"I never knew they were so cute and fluffy! I've never seen one before, thank you Yoru!" He smiled

"You're welcome." Yoru playfully winked

But Chan took it the other way and blushed, he looked away from her to hide his red face.

"Thanks Yoru noona..."

"No problem Channie."

"Do you have a wish now?" Chan asked

"Hmmm, I have thought of nothing so far..." Yoru looked up to think

"Maybe I'll see something on the way, I'm sorry if you feel tired of me dragging you everywhere..." Yoru apologized

"It's okay, this was the first time in genie history that the amulet-holder was so kind to a genie..." Chan smiled with sincerity

"Wait, there are others?" Yoru's eyes glistened in curiosity

"We don't know, but we have a previous owner..." Chan looked down

"Really?" The girl said

"But..."

Yoru could feel the boy being uncomfortable of the topic, so she stopped herself from being so nosy.

"It's okay, you don't have to tell me." She said and looked at the old woman arguing with what seems like her son.

They were making a commotion on the streets, making people gather around them in curiosity.

And of course, Yoru being Yoru, she wanted to help.

And she had a bright idea.

"Can I make my wish now?" Yoru asked

Chan got the idea, and smiled.

"I think I know what you want..." he grinned

"I wish for that old woman and her son to settle things..." she smiled

Chan smiled, "Your wish, will be granted..."

Chan looked at the once fighting grandmother and her child, now laughing together at a restaurant...

"Yoru noona..." the 'younger' called

"Hm?" She hummed

"How can you be so kind?"

The girl only smiled, not looking at him and continuing to admire the lovely family.

"Sometimes, I just do it because i don't want them to feel what I felt."
