Love Is Hard To Find

May's Monday

I woke up thinking today wasn't going to be any fun at all.

I was hoping that I would make new friends hopefully sign up for clubs or something like that.

Maybe drama club oh or band! That sounds really fun.

I could hear Katie still trying to get Darcy out of bed.

This was our routine every morning.

Darcy would wait until the last 15 minutes and would hurry up and leave.

Katie took me to school every morning in her car.

I really loved her and how she cared for us even though our parents were gone.

It's kind of depressing to tell even though we all know it happened and they're gone.

We just don't like to talk about it.

Anyways! This day is going to be amazing!

I could hear Katie walk back downstairs from the last attempt to wake up Darcy.

I then followed her down and asked, "So, what are we having? Cereal?"

She smiled at me and said, "You guesses it."

She laid out two peanut butter toasts and two peanut butter and jelly toasts.

I smiled and hugged her and said, "Thanks, sis."

Darcy finally came downstairs and before you knew it she was out the door.

"Katie, do you ever think that Darcy just really likes to be alone?"

"All the time, but you know we're always going to be here for her."

I nodded my head and began eating my breakfast again.

When I was done, Katie decided to drop me off at my new school.

I was so excited about everything!

New classmates, teachers, boys.

Lol, okay so I'm excited about that to.

Once I got on the campus, I could see everybody buzzing with excitement.

I walked up to this black headed girl and asked her, "Do you know where the principles office is?"

She smiled back and said, "Sure, follow me and I'll show you."

I said, "Okay, thanks."

She then said, "My name is Kathy and yours?"

I smiled and said, "It's May."

She seemed super sweet and helpful maybe she could be my new friend.

She guided the way and told me that I was where I needed to be.

I told her thanks once again and she left me alone at the front desk.

I said, "Hi, Principle Williams is it?"

He asked, "Yes, what can I do for you?"

I replied, "Well, my name is May Alexander and I was wondering if I could please have my schedule? I'm new here."

He dropped his smile and asked, "Alexander? Are you related to Darcy?"

I nodded and said, "Yes sir, she's my sister why?"

He shook his head and said, "You both are just so different...well here you go."

He handed me my schedule which I read over and over.

1st period is English
2nd period is Spanish
3rd period is Science
Then it's Homeroom
4th period is History
5th period is Math
6th period is p.e.
And then last just said choose a club
