It was around 5:30 a.m. when I woke up.

I went to the kitchen to see a stack full of money laid out all over the bills I had looked over a few nights ago.

I counted up it all breathless at how exact the price was.

This could pay for everything!

That's when I heard someone whisper behind me, "It's the only way I could repay you."

I turned around to see Beth standing behind me.

With tears in my eyes, I wrapped her in a hug and said over and over, "Thank you."

When I released the hug, she was smiling knowing she did a good thing.

I walked back into the living room to run into Darcy.

She was sitting on the couch staring out the window at completely nothing.

I sat beside her and she slowly turned her head to look back at me.

I said to her, "The bills have been paid for you can have your phone back."

She then pulled her phone out of her pocket.

I asked in disbelief, "You took it?"

She nodded her head without saying anything.

I asked, "Why?"

Her phones ringtone went off showing that she got a message.

Then, it rang again and again and again and many more times after that.

She tried to hide it away, but I grabbed it and started to look at the texts.

They were all unknown but their texts were not.

"You should go kill yourself"
"I mean I would if I was her"
"Worthless Slut"
"You're such a bitch"

Darcy: Who are you guys?

"Oh wow it speaks"
"Are you crying"
"She probably is because she's so pathetic"
"Ha Ha she's such a whore sleeping with all those men she's dating"
"Are you talking about Dally"
"Of course, I heard they slept together"
"Omg what a skank"
"Ha Ha I know right"

It was a group message with tons of different numbers.

Darcy said to me, "It's not a big deal, Katie."

I asked not taking my eyes off her phone, "Not a big deal? Taking an overdose is a pretty big deal to me."

She got up from the couch and went to her room locking the door behind her.

"Darcy, open up."

"No, why should I? You heard them I'm nothing but a worthless bitch."

"Who are these people?"

"I don't know girls from my school I guess."

"Darcy, they don't know who you really are their just jealous alright."

"Jealous? Of what? I'm a greaser there's nothing to be jealous of."

I grabbed a key I always keep hidden just in case of things like this that happen.

I unlocked her door and walked in.

She was sitting in her bed with the covers up to her waist.

Her nose was red and her eyes were puffy and watery.

I said, "Darcy, we need to talk about this we can't ignore the fact that this has happened."

I couldn't help but start to tear up, but I tried to blink the tears away:
