Chapter 12

Chapter 12

As soon as Kai's lips touched mine, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. Tingles were making my body numb and yet, I wanted more. I needed him like oxygen. What is wrong with me? Why did I feel like this? My hands snaked around his neck, tangling in his long wild hair and I felt his hands slide down to my waist, pulling me closer. I could feel he was getting a little excited both from my powers and his uh.....downstairs. I decided to have a little fun with this. Even though I had no idea what I was doing.....let's hope this doesn't end in disaster, I thought. I trailed my tongue across his bottom lip, asking for entrance and when he was about to open up, I pulled away. He stared at me shocked and I smiled evilly as we both tried to catch our breaths.

"Where did you-"

"Don't worry about it wolf boy." I said flirtily.

He groaned as I took a step back, making me giggle.

"Not fair. You tease." He mumbled.

I started to giggle again and shook my head. That's when I saw he was wearing nothing but his boxers. My giggles stopped immediately and I stared. Kai crossed his arms over his chest and chuckled. My face went bright red and I looked away. He walked towards me and put his hands on both sides of my face so we were looking directly into each other's eyes.

"Don't be embarrassed Tea. I know I'm sexy." He whispered with a wink and took a step back.

I gasped and made a humph sound. Then I turned around and stomped into the closet so I could change. I quickly grabbed a pair of boy shorts and a tank top and ran into the bathroom to avoid Kai who was lying on my bed, staring at my ceiling. I closed the door and took a quick shower, getting dressed at lightning speed. I grabbed my hair brush, walked out of the bathroom with it and sat at my mirror. I saw my whole room from the mirror that hung from my wall and could see Kai sitting up on my bed.

"What are you doing?" He asked, scooting to the edge of my bed closest to me.

I smiled and started brushing my hair.

"Nothing." I answered with a shrug as I continued brushing my really long hair.

It looked black from the water that was in it. I started humming one of the tribal songs I've learned over the past few years.

"I know that song." Kai whispered suddenly.

I turned around and looked at him as I started braiding my hair.

"It's not that common. Where have you heard it?" He asked.

I smiled.

"A princess never tells her secrets." I whispered.

He rolled his eyes.

"Seriously." He said.

I sighed.

"If you must know...I don't stay here all the time. I go out and about..." I answered, not really giving him an answer.

He stared at me.

"You mean you sneak out?" He asked.

"Shh!" I said.

He shook his head.

"Princess? More like rebel." He mumbled loud enough for me to hear.

I rolled my eyes.

"Anyway...what time is it?" I asked.
