"How long do you think she'll be out for?" Raven asked Abby as they all sat around the table eating.

"However long her body needs." The mood in the room dropped even more than what it already was. "It's only been 36 hours, and everyone's body heals differently. The wound is healing nicely so I would think she'll wake up pretty soon."

"Just waiting around is the worst though" Harper said as she got up from the table.

"Well then maybe we should try to do something productive. You know Clarke would have something to say about us just sitting around for days."

"Raven's right. Why don't we head back to the bunker and help them move everything above ground." Echo was itching to get back to her people. Her people. Were they even her people anymore, or were they all grounders now? That's a question the group had yet to bring up.

"I'm not leaving Clarke" Madi spoke up, breaking her silence.

"It's okay Madi we didn't expect you to."

"Raven's right...again."  Raven let out a laugh at Bellamy's words.

"I'm always right Bellamy, don't forget it."

He just rolled his eyes at his friend. "I'm going to stay behind too, watch over the kids and Clarke."

Abby stood up as she cleared her spot at the table. "We'll probably be gone most of the day. Both of you know to change her bandages every four hours or so. Raven amped up the radios, so if anything happens you should be able to reach me okay."

"You got it doc."

Not much long after that the group left to head back over to the bunker, leaving Bellamy and Madi alone as the other three kids played.

"Have you trained at all the past couple days?" Bellamy asked Madi.

"Uh no I didn't" she shyly answered.

Bellamy chuckled. "You know Clarke won't be happy that you missed training session."

"Well she's not gonna know unless a certain someone decides to say something."

Bellamy raised his hands in defense. "I have no idea what you're talking about munchkin."

"I hate when you call me that. Everyone can't be as freakishly tall as you." Madi groaned at Bellamy's teasing nickname.

He lowered his hands to ruffle her hair. "I know, it's just fun seeing you get all mad. It's like watching a baby animal get mad."

"I'm not like a baby animal" Madi said slightly stomping her foot.

"And that proves my point."

"You're annoying. I'm going to go train for a little bit."

Bellamy couldn't help but laugh at Madi's annoyance, finding much funnier than threatening.

.

Madi trained just long enough to feel satisfied with herself before calling it quits. Now both her and Bellamy sat across from each other as they snacked on some berries.

"I really hope Clarke is going to be okay" Madi said with a sad look on her face.

"Of course she is going to be okay, Abby even said so herself." They both stayed quiet for a few moments before Bellamy continued talking. "She might hurt a bit and move a little slower for a while, but she will be back to herself in no time at all."
