The sun was slowly started to descend when Clarke met up with the others at the edge of the camp that had been made outside the lab. It was agreed on that only a small group would join Clarke, so tonight only Bellamy, Indra, and Octavia were joining her. A group any larger would draw attention, and Clarke knew the attention would cause her mother to be at a greater risk.

"Is everyone about ready to go?" Clarke asked the other three, who all answered in a chorus of head nods. "Okay, I'm just going to go check on Madi and the kids before we leave" she said before turning and heading to where Madi, Jax and the twins were eating dinner with the other kids.

Madi glared at Clarke when she saw her walking towards them.

"Don't give me that look Madi" Clarke said as she stopped in front of her.

Madi rolled her eyes "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not giving you any look."

Clarke let out defeated sigh. She didn't want to get in an argument with Madi right before she left. "I just wanted to come tell you bye and let you I'll probably be back in a couple of hours."

The twins quickly waved bye as they kept eating while Jax turned to face Clarke. "Don't worry Clarke I watch them until you get back."

Clarke chuckled and ruffled Jax's hair. "I know you will Jax, that's why I'm leaving you in charge."

It was fun to Clarke to see Jax's face light up when she told him that. She immediately turned back towards Madi. "I know you're not happy with me Madi and we'll talk about when I get but just know I love you." Clarke waited a few seconds but when Madi didn't say anything she turned to walk back towards the group. She took a few steps only to stop when she heard Madi's voice calling her name.

"Be careful" is all Clarke heard Madi say, but it is was enough. Enough for Clarke to know Madi cared, even if she was still mad at her. Clarke gave her a small smile before starting back towards the group.

"Ready to go?" Octavia asked Clarke as she walked up to the group.

Clarke picked up her bag off the ground, slinging it over her shoulder. "Yeah let's head out."

It was going to take them a little over a hour to get to the ship, so they weren't worried about traveling in silence. Indra and Octavia were chatting while Bellamy and Clarke quietly walked behind them. After a few minutes, Bellamy broke the silence between them.

"Is everything okay with Madi?"

Clarke let out a deep sigh. "Yeah. She's still mad at me for not letting her come tonight, but I think she understands.

Bellamy wrapped his arm around her, giving her waist a little reassuring squeeze. "She won't be mad at you for too long though."

"Oh she'll probably be fine by time we get back, but I just hate knowing she's mad at me. Even though it's best for her."

Bellamy leaned in and placed a kiss on her temple. "You two have such a strong bond and nothing can break it."

"Yeah..." Clarke trailed off, leaving them to walk in silence once again.

They walked until they saw the flicker of light in the distance. Clarke, who was now leading the group, stopped them far enough way so they wouldn't be seen.

"Alright, we need to a surround them so none of them can get away" Clarke whispered to the group before turning to Indra. "Can you get closer look and see how many men there are." Indra nodded and quietly made her way closer to scout their camp.

"If it's the same guys, there should only 24 right." Bellamy asked Clarke.

"25 people now with the one guy that took my mom." Clarke said with an slight edge to her voice. She knew that as soon as she got back she was changing all the guards so nothing like this happened again.

"25 against four? I like those odds" Octavia said, her voiced laced full of sarcasm.

Bellamy rolled his eyes at his sister as they waited for Indra to finish scouting the camp. "As long as we're quick, we can get in and out without drawing any attention" he replied to her.

"Well both of you aren't wrong, but you're not right either." Clarke tried to end the sibling bickering before it even began.

Octavia was just about to make another sarcastic remake towards her brother but was interrupted by Indra rejoining the three of them.

"Your mom is tied up right outside the ship" she said to Clarke. "Most of the guys are inside the ship, while seven of them are around the fire that's about 15 to 20 feet from the entrance."

"Okay but did you see a way to get my mother out without getting notice."

"I think we can creep up behind the ship then down the side to Abby, staying in the shadows the entire time."

"Good, good. Then this is how it's going to go" Clarke started telling the others the plan she had came up with. "Bellamy and I will go for my mom, while you two stay just inside the tree line in case just in case things go sour."

The three of them nodded at Clarke's words before getting ready to set the plan in motion. Right before the group separated Bellamy grabbed Octavia's arm. "Stay safe Octavia."

Octavia rested her hand on top Bellamy's hand. "You too big brother" she said to him. She let her hand drop, then turned to Clarke giving her a quick nod before following after Indra into the darkness.

.

Clarke led Bellamy around to the backside the ship, turning back to face Bellamy only when they got up right behind it. "My mom is on that side" she very quietly whispered as she pointed to the left side. "Follow me up and watch my back."

She didn't give him any time to answer or oppose her going first, because as soon as Clarke finished her sentence she started sliding down the left side of the ship. They had made it about half way down the side when they were forced to stop when two of the guys sitting at the fire stood up. Bellamy and Clarke shrunk into the wall, pushing themselves even more into the side of the ship and even more out of view. It seemed like forever, but after a few minutes the two guys looked like they said their goodbyes and headed inside the ship. Clarke turned around to Bellamy and held up hand, letting him know that there were only five guys left around the fire now.

They walked a few more intense feet ahead until Clarke was standing almost right behind her mother. Clarke took a deep breathe and checked the guys once last time before jumping into action. She quickly, and as quietly as she could, wrapped a hand around Abby's mouth and yanked her back a few feet.

Before Abby could make a fuss Clarke whispered in her ear. "Mom it's me, we've come to get you. Not let's get those off your wrist."

Abby whipped around to face her daughter and raised her hands up so Bellamy could cut the rope that held her wrists together. Just as soon as the rope fell from her wrists, Abby pulled Clarke into a hug. Their hug was interrupted by Bellamy motioning to them, letting them know that they needed to get moving. Bellamy led the way back into the tree line as Clarke and Abby followed behind him.

They met back up with Octavia and Indra about 100 feet away from the ship and the others. Octavia and Indra were in the middle of welcoming back Abby when all five of the heard commotion in the distance. There was a lot of yelling and at first they couldn't make out most of it, but that didn't last long. Almost immediately after the yelling started Clarke could make out someone yelling about Abby being gone and she wasn't the only one, they all heard it.

"Run" Clarke said, and that's exactly what they did.

If I started posting chapters of my other story would anyone read it since it's not 100 related? It's called Stone Cold and the summary is already on my page.
