ALL CHARACTERS AND EVENTS IN THIS FANFICTION -- EVEN THOSE BASED ON REAL CHARACTERS IN THE SHOW -- ARE ENTIRELY FROM THE MIND OF A YAOI FANGIRL. ALL CHARACTERS ARE PORTRAYED.....POORLY. THE FOLLOWING FANFICTION CONTAINS COARSE LANGUAGE AND DUE TO ITS CONTENT IT SHOULD NOT BE READ BY ANYONE.

I heard Mom coming before she entered the room. My pointed ears pricked up, recognising the familiar pattern of her foot steps. However, what I didn't recognise were the foot steps behind hers. The quick pitter patter of feet. They were nervous, scared. But also, empty, angry somehow. They weren't calm and steadfast like Mom's. They weren't jolly like Dad's or playful and carefree like Ike's.

"Ah, here you are bubby! I should have known you'd be here reading!" She said joyously in her squawky voice. I gently closed the book I'd been studying intensely: Why all Wizards are gay, and turned my attention to her. She was grinning at me happily. Behind her was a boy with dark bags under his eyes. He looked about my age, however, the expression on his face told me he'd seen things no boy my age should have seen. A couple locks of dark, raven black hair peeked through the metal helmet on his head. He had stormy eyes which held all the chaos and anger of the ocean. He carried a sword round his waist, but it was made of wood and looked pretty fucking useless. He had a very solemn, intimidating, almost robotic expression plastered to his face. "Kyle! I want to introduce you to Stan. He's going to be your body guard! You know how I was just looking for a body guard for you? Why I was just saying so yesterday! And low and behold he arrived today! Isn't that just perfect bubby?"

"Er, yeah, I guess?" I said a little flustered, standing up and dusting off my robes, trying to look presentable, attempting to fix my lopsided hat. Oh God, elves are meant to be presentable in front of humans! I am not making a good first impression!

Mom leaned in and whispered to me, "He's going through a rough time, a very rough time, so be really nice okay?" She said way  too loudly. I wanted to face palm. Stan had definitely heard that, or at least could guess. I nodded awkwardly and she pulled away.

"Alright Kyle, I have work to do so you show Stan around ok?" She said half dashing out the room.

"Yes ma!" I yelled after her. I turned my attention to Stan. Just as I was about to introduce myself he got down on one knee, bowed his head and stared at the ground.

"My Lord, I will do everything in my power to protect you. I am very grateful for this position and I will not let you down." I couldn't help but laugh a little. He needed to chill. I half dragged him up; he looked a little shocked.

"Dude, chill, I am not having any of this 'my lord' stuff. My name is Kyle, okay? If you're gonna be my bodyguard then we're gonna need to be on friendly levels alright? Come on dude! I'll show you round the castle, it's awesome!" I said, trying to be enthusiastic. Stan looked at me with confused, but slightly happier eyes. He even gave me a small smile. However, I could sense a great sadness within him. I wonder what his story is? It is not an elf's place to be nosy though, remembering my Dad having to constantly tell me that.

"Okay, so, this room is mine," I said pointing to my bedroom door. "And I guess this one will be yours? Mom mentioned the room next to mine would one day be for my body guard." I said opening the door for Stan then walking in after him. "Where's your luggage? I can help you bring it up here." I said smiling, trying to be helpful.

"All I have is this." He said quietly setting a bag down on the dresser. The small, dark blue bag starkly contrasted with the vast white dresser. That's quite depressing. Where are his family? Will he be able to visit them? I have so many questions but it would be rude to ask them. Stan was just staring at the bag, which looked quite alone on the dresser. A blue lagoon in the middle of an endless wasteland of a dessert. His eyes started tearing up. I wanted to comfort him, but I doubted that would be appreciated, largely because we just met. I grabbed a bit of his muddy blood red vest and pretended I'd seen nothing. I knew what would cheer him up. I quickly dragged him into the kitchens and ran straight to Chef.

"Why hello young Master Kyle!" He said brightly, humming to himself and having a little boogie.

"Hey Chef!" I replied happily, he's always so nice. The other cooks are horrid. They never give me any food. Something about how a prince shouldn't desire sweet things or some bullshit. "This is my new friend, Stan, have you got anything tasty for him to try?" I asked hoping there's something that will cheer Stan up, even a little.

"Why of course, any friend of Kyle's is a friend of mine." Chef said smiling at Stan. He was staring at the floor forlornly. Chef quickly dashed off and quickly returned with a plate of chocolate salty balls.

"Have a try of my chocolate salty balls." Said Chef with a chuckle. Stan looked at him weirdly, yeah that's Chef for you. He then tried one hesitantly, and his face immediately lit up. Soon he was eating them at lightning speed!

"Aw dude! These are really good!" I watched him slightly concerned; when was the last time he had a meal? Chef chuckled.

"My balls just have that effect on people." Chef gave me a look that said go on, have some. But I shook my head. Stan looked really hungry so I'd let him have them. He looked happily distracted; I grinned happy I could help. Once he finished we walked out the kitchen to the sound of Chef singing; something about making love to a woman by the fire.

Hey guys~ hopefully you enjoyed that, please leave a vote if you did.

If anyone's still confused the story is set in a lord of the rings/games of thrones esk universe. So it isn't set in South Park. There are different Kingdoms. One is ruled by Gerald, Kyle's dad; the other is ruled by Cartman.

New chapters coming soon, and have an awesome day!
