"Welcome to Dragon Training!" Gobber said. I walked in proudly with the others.
"No turning back," I muttered to myself.
"I hope I get some serious burns!" Tuff said.
"I'm hoping for some mauling, like on my shoulder or lower back." Ruff agreed.
"Yeah, it's only fun if you get a scar out of it," I said. Then I spotted her. The hottest girl in the village. I tried not to stare like a creeper. Dang, she's beautiful. Curves in all the right places too. I thought. She had a whip with her. That's her weapon? How is that going to help her? I wondered. I shrugged it off. I was just glad she was here. After all, she's one of us. The only problem was her brothers. They were with her, each carrying their own weapons. Zane and Ash had swords while Kent had a double-bladed sword and Carl had two smaller axes. Then, somebody said sarcastically,
"Yeah, no kidding, right? Pain. Love it." I turned and spotted Hiccup.
"Oh, great. Who let him in?" Tuff said. I rolled my eyes. He's gonna die. I thought. I mean he was a screw-up! Why was he even here? Trying to get himself killed, but make it look like an accident? While (Y/n) was training with Gothi, she was still one of US at least.
"Let's get started! The recruit who does best will win the honor of killing his first dragon in front of the entire village." Gobber said, calling everyone's attention.
"Hiccup already killed a Night Fury, so, does that disqualify him or...?" Snotlout teased. We all laughed, except (Y/n) and her family. I saw her flash a kind smile to Hiccup and I wondered why she wanted to be nice to him. Probably feels bad him. She does have a heart of gold after all. Is that weird to think about? I don't know.
"Why is she here though?" Tuff said, pointing to (Y/n).
"She's here to learn how to defend herself against a dragon. Also if any of you get injured we don't have enough time to take you to Gothi, so she's also here to make sure nobody dies." Gobber said. I hope I get hurt now. ...Okay, that one was actually weird.
"Don't worry. You're small and you're weak. That'll make you less of a target! They'll see you as sick or insane and go after the more Viking-like teens instead." Gobber said to them. "Behind these doors are just a few of the many species you will learn to fight! The Deadly Nadder!"
"Speed: eight; Armor: sixteen," Fishlegs said, going off on his own tangents.
