Jon and Daenerys stood next to each other as they sailed into the black water, Ned standing between them, holding their hands trying to use them to swing; his feet ruffling the fur on his fathers red eyed dire wolf. The king smiled down at his son as his wife pecked him on the nose with her finger, their advisors standing around them and their entire fleet sailing behind them.

Drogon and Rhaegal flying overhead.

Daenerys looked over to her husband, it had been a day since she decided that they would rule from the north and she could see her feelings, written all over his face. They were one, she was nervous and so was he. Jon, she whispered, "don't stress yourself, this is a coronation that you deserve", he looked to his queen with his brown, unsure eyes. "I am not worthy of the honour, I did not fight as hard as you to deserve to be king. You have sacrificed so much", he said as he picked Ned up and held him close to his heart. "You have fought for years for this throne and I feel like I just showed up and called myself King" he whispered as he kissed his wriggling sons head.

Aegon Targaryen, she said as she turned to face her husband, "you are named after a conqueror, our ancestor, the one who made this throne from his dragon, Balerion the Dredd" she said as she caressed the top of her child's head. "You are more than worthy, the people, your people, our people love and respect you. You have won two battles, one that no one, not even I, believed. You are a descendant of Kings! The son of a prince... There is no greater honour, and I am proud to stand alongside you, and call mine". "I would not be who I am today without you", she reassured him. Jon smiled at his queen, "nor would I" he whispered.

"Dany, I am not the man I was two years ago, you've changed me, you've given me everything I have ever wanted, something I never thought I would have let alone deserve". He caressed the side of her face as he held his son in a stronger grip, Ned now resting his head on his shoulders. "I'll love you forever" he whispered as he kissed her cheek, bringing his free hand down to caress her growing belly.

Daenerys smiled as she looked down at her growing child. "Sam tells me that our child is due, any day now, I feel exhausted" she whispered.

The sun was setting as their ship docked and the rails descended for them to exit the ship. The coronation was tomorrow, and he knew that she needed all the rest they could spare. My king, my queen said Lord Tyrion as they approached him – welcome to your capital he said as he reached forward to shake the kings hand. I have missed you he said as he took his place next to his queen, who was trying her best to not look sore and tired from the trip. Daenerys had everyone fooled except for her husband...

Jon gave his now sleeping child to Ser Daavos and instructed his hand to take him straight to his chambers, his family following suit.

This was the first time Brandon had been to the capital, however he knew exactly where everything was and had more memories of Kings Landing than anyone in the capital, at this very moment, for he had seen its past.

My queen, we should meet in the throne room to discuss tomorrows proceedings said Lord Tyrion as he walked at his queen's slow pace. Jon looked at his wife, waiting for her reply, hoping she would tell him that she wanted to retire to their chamber for rest.
Of course, her being her, she did the total opposite...

As their people left the docks and made their way to their desired destinations, Arya and Sansa walked behind their brother, who spun around to face them, as though he had had an epiphany...

"Sansa, Arya" he whispered. "Please go with Ned - I don't trust anyone in this place" he whispered as he looked around at the onlookers staring back at him. "Even though we have conquered the kingdoms, I am not convinced that we are completely safe. Im not even sure if we are loved because of the accomplishments we have achieved, or through the fear of being burned alive..."
