"The two of you have raised my children long enough" he said bluntly...

"You know that we don't mind... raising and looking after your children while you're gone Jon" Sansa said as she walked over to the door and opened it wider so that Khyra was able to bring the boys bassinets in comfortably. "I know" he said as he watched Khyra and Sansa walk passed him, then following them as Sansa told him where to place the bassinets. Khyra placed the last one down and left the room, closing the door behind him. Jon lifted the blanket out of Robb's bassinette and placed his sleeping baby inside of it. Kissing him on his way down. Jon then looked up at Arya, his eyes telling him to put Rhaegar down too. His little sister looked back at him and shook her head. "If I put him down. He will wake the both of his brothers" she said as Jon laughed. "Here, I'll take him with me. Jon said as he held his hands out. Arya passing him his sleeping son. Jon rested Rhaegar on his shoulders, just like Robb was sleeping only moments ago. "I am going down to meet with our guests. We should let them sleep" Jon said as he looked at his sisters, the both of them, nodding at once. Arya took a step forward. "I'm glad you're going to meet with them. There is this woman that came with their company. She is so annoying" she said as she looked at her brother." Are you talking about Sara?"'Sansa asked as she looked at her sister, taking Rhaella's coat and holding it beside her. "The red head?" Arya asked, Sansa nodding through a smile. "Lady Sansa, how is the king?"'she mimicked. Arya laughing at once. "Is the king going to join us for tea my lady?" Arya said as she too, attempted to mimic the lady they were teasing. Jon not paying any attention to what they were saying. He would always zone out when they were being stupid. Instead he spoke to Sam. "Come Sam" Jon said as he looked at his brother. Sam shook his head. "I will stay. I would like to stay and watch over Ned for a bit longer" Sam said as he touched the top of Ned's head. Jon walked over to him. "You've done enough. You should rest, spend time with your family" he said as he saw the look of loneliness come across his face. Jon then looked at Arya and Sansa, whose eyes told him that he had once again, put his foot in it. "Gilly and little Sam have gone to Horn Hill" Sam said quietly. Jon looked back at him curiously. "My mother passed, two nights before your return. They have gone to represent me. There they will stay, until I take leave" he said as he saw his brothers face drop. "Sam" Jon whispered weakly. "I'm sorr-" Sam shook his head, took a step forward and put his hand on Jon's shoulder. "Don't be. I wanted to be here. I wanted to stay. You are my family Jon. I knew you would need me when you returned. I helped to deliver this boy. I delivered all of your children. It is my duty to do what I can to help" he said reassuringly. "He would have been lost without you. All of us" Jon said as he too, placed his free hand on his shoulder. The both of them grateful and content to have each other in their lives.

Jon walked into the great hall with his son in his arms. He had taken Sam's advice and left Ned and Robb asleep in their chamber, with Sam watching over them. Sansa and Arya were on either side of their brother when they made their grand entrance. Everyone was in the great hall, seated and eating. His eyes fell on his daughter in an instant, who was sitting between Gendry and Daavos, her back to her father, and Nymeria asleep under her seat. "Good morning" Jon said as he approached the table. Rhaella turning and smiling at her father, her mouth full of food. Tyrion, Varys and Jorah stood at once. It was the first time they had seen Jon since he left Kings Landing with his family on the back of their dragons. "Good morning, your grace" Tyrion said as he held his hand out for him to shake. Jon holding his child with one hand as he greeted all of the guests sitting at his table. "What brings you this far north?" Jon asked as he walked passed his daughter, kissed the top of her head and sat down on the seat beside Daavos. Arya sitting beside Gendry, as Sansa took a seat next to Ser Jorah. "Nothing more than a visit. We wanted to visit the queen and her family. I wanted to show Joanna the north, now that she is old enough to understand" he said as his eyes pointed at the blonde, five and a half year old, playing with some of Ned and Rhaella's wooden toys, next to their table. Jon looked from Joanna to Tyrion. "She's grown" he said as he began to place some food on his plate. Rhaegar's head moving restlessly on his shoulder. Jon looked at him and kissed the side of his face. "I'm sure he must hate being held for so long" Jon said as he stood. "I'm going to put him down. Being held all of the time must hurt him" he said as he walked towards the wooden crib that was situated in the same corner Joanna was playing. He fixed the bassinet with his free hand. Laid his baby down and wrapped him in a white cloth. Jon lay him on his side and used a small pillow to sit behind his back. This was something Daenery's used to do with Rhaella to keep her there, on her side. He looked down at his sleeping child and smiled. "He'll he alright" he thought to himself. Arya, Sansa and Gendry looked at each other with a small grins on their faces. They all knew that he wouldn't last long in there, but, they didn't want to say anything. They decided to let Jon learn on his own.
