Jon looked down at the letter and frowned. He had 'written her four times' he thought to himself as he placed it onto the table and removed the rest of his clothes. His children were asleep, except for Rhaegar, who was gooing and gaaing in the middle of his bed. He was fine, there were pillows all around the edge and he has not yet learned how to roll. Jon placed himself into the hot water and enjoyed the relaxing feeling it gave his body. He began to wash himself as he thought about the events that took place earlier that day. He missed his wife. More so at night than during the day. During the day his children kept him busy. However, at night. He was left all by himself and his thoughts. Jon thought of the questions Ned was asking him that afternoon during dinner and wondered if he should ask Bran to talk with him, or if he should just tell him the truth. Ned had seen enough  in his short life to be able to understand the truth. These were some of the decisions he would like to discuss with Daenerys. They had always made decisions together. He hoped that she would be home sooner rather than later. Her children were growing up without her and she was missing out. The twins especially. Every day they grew, and every day they would do something that would make him smile. He would smile and then think of her. Jon rinsed off and got out of the bath. He quickly dried himself and wrapped a towel around his waist, as he massaged another towel through his dark, curly hair. He walked over to his bed and peaked over the pillows. Jon smiled when he saw that Rhaegar had settled himself down and had fallen asleep. He was so small, and so beautiful. He could watch him sleep all night. A drop of water fell from his hair onto the pillow, and he pulled himself away to continue to get changed. Jon walked to his bathroom and threw a loose shirt over his head. It was a cloth white long sleeve shirt that fit perfectly on his body. His towel still wrapped around his waist. He rubbed his face as he walked passed his door and grabbed a pair of pants off of the seat. Jon pulled his pants on and heard a sudden knock at his door. Jon's eyes shot around the room to see if the knock had woken any of his children. He knew that it was none of his siblings because they would usually knock, then open the door and barge in.

Jon took a deep breath before he opened the door. When he opened the door and was taken back. "My lady" he said curiously as she looked back at him with tears in her eyes. "My king" she said as she looked at the ground, unable to look him in the eyes. "What troubles you?" he asked as he took a step out of the room and pulled the door closed a little, so that their talking wouldn't wake his children. "I have come to apologise and beg for your forgiveness" she said as she brought her eyes to his. Jon looking back at her with a hint of worry in his eyes. "I want to say that I am sorry for questioning the queen and her allegiance to the free people of Mereen, of Yunkai and of Astapor" she said as he watched her tears fall. I should not have interrupted your conversation with lord Tyrion. What she is doing over there is phenomenal and I adore and respect her passion for the freedom of the slaves that live there" she said as she brought her hand to her face and quickly wiped her tears. Jon looked down at her with pity. "There is nothing to forgive my lady" he said quietly. His hand still on the door handle behind him. Her eyes locking themselves into his gaze. "Thank you king Aegon" she whispered. You are a good king. One of the best we've ever had" she said as she leaned forward and threw her arms around him. Her hands coming around his neck in a fast embrace. Jon took a step back and subtly pushed her off of him. He looked at her and shook his head. "You should get some sleep, lady Sara" he said as she stood up straight, moved on her feet and looked back at him with a frown on her face.

"Are you so displeased with me, that you cannot comfort me in a time of need?" Lady Sara asked as she watched him shake his head. "I think that you have said your peace my lady. Now it is time for you to go" he said as he opened the door behind him and pushed it open. "Good night" he said as he watched her storm off.

Jon walked back into the room and closed the door behind him. He stood at the door of his chamber and realised that his sisters were right. Lady Sara had developed feelings for him. He walked around his chamber and kissed his children good night. He caressed his daughter's hair out of her face and laughed quietly as she gave him an automatic frown, in her sleep. Time had passed and Jon sat in front of the fire, watching the flames burning in front of him, a cup of ale in his hands. His children, fast asleep around him. Darkness fell on Winterfell and he found himself thinking of Daenerys. The stubbornness in her eyes that he loved so much. Her long silver hair. Her smile... When he thought of her smile, his heart fluttered and he couldn't help but smile too as he leaned back into his seat. The flames in front of him were now burning slowly. He could feel his eyes getting heavy as he held his ale in his hands, the cup resting on his thighs as he began to fall asleep. "Good night Dany" he whispered as he finished the contents of his cup and let sleep take him.
