Jon saw him, sleeping in his mothers arms. His heart broken at the sight. It was only seconds but it felt like a lifetime. His breathing was faint. His body had suffered enough. He didn't even know how his spirit was. Ned was raised in love. He had never, experienced anything like this before. He'd had enough...

"Dany" he whispered as be looked at the fire in his wife's eyes. "Dany lets go. Let's take him home. I just want to take him home Dany. Please?" He said as he dropped the chains he had in his hand. LongClaw still in his grasp. Daenerys looked at him and shook her head. "No. I will not ignore this. Look at him Jon. Look at what they've done to him. I will not let them get away with this. Not after what he's suffered" she said as held his head on her shoulders. Ned sighing into her neck, his eyes still shut. He was exhausted. She could tell. Jon looked around the room. His eyes glassy. "You're right. Look at him. He's been through enough. How do we even get out of here!?" He asked as he looked back at his wife. Daenerys looking straight at him. "The same way we came in" she said bluntly. Her eyes searching his for reason. "Dany. What if he gets caught in the crossfire?" He asked as he moved on his feet. He didn't want to walk out of this room until they had thought everything through. Together. If anything happened to her, or Ned, he would never forgive himself. "You say you want fire and blood. As do I. But, we don't know if he is like Rhaella. We don't know anything" he said as he stood by the door. He pressed his ear against it and tried hard to listen for anything, and or anyone on the other side. "We don't know Dany. What if we walk into another fucking vision?" He said as he looked back at her. These were all valid questions, she knew it. However, she was getting impatient. "You need to stop overthinking" she began. Jon sighed at her comment. "I'm not overthinking. I'm fucking worried. We just got him back Dany. I want these cunts as much as you do. But now is not the time. We have him back. We have our purpose. He is the only reason we are here. We'll take him home. We'll take him home and come back" he said as he put LongClaw back into his belt. "Call for our dragons. Let's go home" he pleaded as he held his hands out to receive Ned. He could tell that their son was beginning to get too heavy for her. Jon pulled Ned into his arms. Ned's head making himself comfortable on his fathers shoulders in his sleeping state. Jon missed him. He missed every inch of him. He just wanted to go home...

"We will go" she said as she kissed the top of Ned's head. She knew there was no reasoning with him. She knew that, like her, when his mind is made up. It is made. He was stubborn. More so than she. Jon looked at her and was relieved. "Thank you Dany" he whispered as she looked at him and smiled. Jon holding the back of Ned's head. He brought his hand down and caressed his back before placing his hand on the door to exit the dungeon. "Are you ready?" He asked as he looked back at Daenerys. Her eyes moving around the room that housed her son while he was away from her. Anger and grief filling her entire body. She looked back at her husband and nodded. Jon held Ned with one hand as he opened the door, Drogon and Rhaegal waiting for them near the dungeon. She walked in front of Jon as they all made their way towards their dragons. Drogon saw his mother and let out a piercing cry. Drogon's screech was so loud Ned shot up. His eyes, bloodshot but open. His head jolted off of his fathers shoulders as Jon stopped in his tracks to calm him. "Ned. Its me" he said as he held him in front of him. Jon looking at him as he looked back at his father. Ned was unsure. He had been fooled before and didn't know if what he was seeing was a reality, or another trick of the red woman.

"Ned its me" he said as Ned ran his fingers over his fathers face. His hands then ran across the wolf that was on his chest plate. He then looked up and into his fathers eyes. Jon saw the exhaustion in his eyes. His heart was yearning to take care of him. "Ned" he whispered. "It's okay. You're safe. Go to sleep" he said as he placed his hand in the back of his head. Ned placing his head on his fathers shoulders once more. He inhaled his scent and it was familiar to him. Excitement filled his body as he wrapped his hands around his neck. The prince closed his eyes and went back to sleep.
