Daenerys looked at her husband, she saw the blood coming from his body, her heart dropped as her Ned was screaming in her arms. GreyWorm called his men and he knew that the entire army would hear, they then searched the castle and the grounds for Daario who had disappeared into the dawn of night.
Jon looked up at his queen with the blade in his hand, he had managed to catch it before it pierced his chest. The blood that the queen saw dripping on the floor was only coming from the palm of his hand, when Daenerys saw this... she was relieved.
Daenerys ran towards her husband with their son in her arms. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" she cried as she kissed his face. Ned leaned into his father who had stopped crying but was still very upset. "Dany I'm fine" he said as he looked her in the eyes. He held his son using his left arm, he saw that Ned was concerned about his hand and was shocked by what he had seen. Jon dropped the dagger and showed Ned his hand... "Look son, it's just a cut, it doesn't even hurt" he said as he used his wounded hand to rip the bottom of his own shirt so that he could wrap it around his palm to stop the bleeding. "Papa is OK" he reassured him as he kissed his cheek.Ned looked his father in the eye, kissed his cheek and wrapped his hands around his neck, so tight, it near broke Jon's heart. After a little while, his son buried his head into his father's curly black hair and whispered, Papa... Jon moved his head slightly so that he could see him... "I'm OK Ned" the king whispered "really, I'm fine. "I'll never leave you, I'm never going anywhere where you are not he reassured him.
Daenerys had tears building in her eyes, she then realised that Ned knew that something was wrong, that's why he woke up – so upset. She stepped forward... Let's get that seen to, she whispered as she picked LongClaw up off of the ground. Daenerys glanced out of the window and light had appeared in the capital. She also saw the entire unsullied army and her dothraki soldiers searching for Daario. "When they find him, I'm going to burn him alive with our dragons" she whispered as she put her husband's sword back into his belt.Daenerys was grateful that her husband was so skilled in combat. To be able to catch a blade before it pierced his chest, she'd never seen anything like it, she actually, couldn't believe it. Come she whispered. "You there!" She called to a hand maiden from her service. "Can you please find Sam and ask him to meet us in our chamber immediately! Thank you she said as the hand maiden turned to walk away.
Sam? Jon asked curiously. Yes, we need to make sure that this wasn't laced with poison, she said as she picked up the dagger. We have also been away from Rhaella for too long, so we will meet Sam in our chamber. Daenerys looked at her son who was still clutching to his father's neck. She put her hand around her husband's waist and her hand on her sons back as they turned to walk back to their room...
"There is no poison on this blade and your wound is clean" Sam whispered as he wrapped a clean cloth around his hand. "It is deep Jon, but it is clean." Thank you Sam said the king as he repositioned his son on his thighs. "See Ned? Papa is fine, now you can sleep" he reassured him. Ned had been awake since the attack on his father, he hasn't left his side since it happened, not even to say hello to his Uncle Brandon, whom he never sees but still liked to be around. Little Ned rested his head on his father's chest and observed his mother changing his sister in the distance.
Sansa took a step forward. "Have we heard any news of his whereabouts?" She asked Lord Tyrion and Varys, who sat on the couch by the fire. "No. None yet my lady" Tyrion replied. "We have the entire capital on full alert and everyone is looking for him" he finished. There was a cry in the room and everyone looked to their princess Rhaella, whose head was now resting on her mother's shoulder.
Jon smiled at his wife and their daughter in her arms. "She is difficult to wind, isn't she?" he asked sarcastically. Daenerys smiled back at her king. "So it would seem" she answered. Jon smiled at his wife then looked down to his son who was now, fast asleep on his chest. "Any news of our sister?" He asked as he looked at Sansa and Brandon. "She is looking for Daario" his brother whispered. "That is all I can tell you" he said bluntly. Jon looked at his brother and knew that there was more to the story, he just didn't want to tell the rest of the room.
