This scene opens on Jon and his family sitting at the top table, enjoying their breakfast in the great hall of Winterfell. Daenerys was reading a raven's scroll from The Capital, Ned siting between his parents, who was smiling at his baby sister on the other side of the table in his Aunt Sansa's arms. "She's grown so much" she said as she ran her fingers through her silver hair. Jon nodded his head, with a huge smile on his face. "She'll be walking soon I'm sure" he said as he gently moved his boys hair out of his face. "She is so beautiful Jon" Sansa whispered as she looked from him to her queen. Jon noticed the look of concern on her face. "What is it Dany?" he asked as put more food onto Ned's now, empty place. "Tyrion" she whispered as she closed the scroll and placed it on the table in front of her. She looked up at him, concerned and worried. "What is it?" He asked cautiously. Daenerys picked up the scroll and passed it to her husband. Sansa observing every emotion on her queens face. "What is it?" she asked quietly, Sansa mentally preparing herself for the news she was about to hear.
"It's Arya" her brother said as he gave her the scroll. "Well at least I assume it is her" he whispered as he noticed the look of concern on Ned's face. He missed Arya. He asked about her just this morning and says her name before he goes to sleep at night. Jon didn't want to worry him. Sansa snatched the scroll out of his hand at once. Reading it as fast as she could. "The Hound?" she whispered. "The Hound" said Jon, "has been spotted, leaving on a ship to Braavos." Sansa gave the scroll back to the queen. "If she's going to Braavos, she must think that that's where Daario is" she said cautiously. "Jon. She needs to stop this madness... this witch hunt she is on" she said as she reached forwards and grabbed his hand. This was a habit of hers, something she would do every time she wanted her brother to do something. "Sansa. She is her own person. She is a skilled fighter. Determined. There is nothing any of us could say that would change her mind" he whispered so that only they could hear. "Even if I tried to get in contact with her. Even if I tried to bring her back. She wouldn't listen. She would probably ki-" Jon stopped himself and smiled. "No she wouldn't" he said as he looked down at his curious Ned. Who was listening to every single word his father was saying.
"My point is, she's made up her mind" he said as he looked to Daenerys. "I am pleased The Hound is with her. I trust him" he said as he poured himself and his queen a glass of wine. Jon lifted the glass and passed it to his queen, who took it out of his hands, but placed it on the table in front of her. Sansa noticed this reaction straight away. She looked at her with wondrous eyes as the queen looked back at her and smiled. Jon missing the entire interaction. "My queen" he said suddenly. Both Sansa and Daenerys breaking eye contact and looking at him. "Can you write back to Tyrion, and ask him to get his spies off of our sister? If she even gets a whiff or an inkling that she is being watched and/or followed, she will think that I ordered it" he said as he leaned forward to give his daughter the glass she had been reaching for, for the duration of their conversation. 'The coldness of the glass must feel nice on her gums' he thought to himself. "Oh we can't have that" Sansa joked as she held the glass in front of Rhaella properly. Jon smiled at her sarcastic interjection. Daenerys smiled at her husband and nodded. "I will write to him tonight" she said as she took a drink of the glass of water in front of her.
There was a creak at the entrance of the great hall and Gendry walked in, with Nymeria by his side. Sansa quickly turned back, reached forward and grabbed the glass of wine her brother had poured for his queen, drinking its contents within seconds. The only one that noticed was Daenerys. Jon was too busy wondering where Ghost was. "Good morning" he said as he stood next to the King, shaking his hand. "Good morning" he said as he looked at the family sitting in front of him. "Good Morning Gendry" the queen said as she smiled up at him, her attention then fixed on her children as she watched them, observing Nymeria. They were accustom to seeing Ghost, but they had never seen another wolf before. They were mesmerised by her. Gendry sat next to the king. Looking at Sansa as he took his seat. "Good morning" he whispered. "Morning" she said as she moved Rhaella's hair out of her, already clear face. Gendry smiled at her awkwardness. His eyes left hers and went directly to the King. "Nymeria likes you" Jon said as he watched her sit at his feet. "Yeah, I've grown to admire her too. She follows me everywhere" he said, smiling down at the dire wolf. "My king. I've come to ask, what would you like to do with the crypts? I have men who are willing to work for you, all you have to do, is to tell me what you want" he said confidently...
