Michael Gray [1] Part II

Bess's POV -

I must have completely lost consciousness before the Doctor arrived as everything is very vague.

If I was asked to recall what happened after I was hit I wouldn't be able to tell you.

I wake now to find myself in a familiar room although at first it seems unfamiliar until I come to my senses.

Michael's room. Our room.

I feel a light grip on my hand and sit up knowing Michael is here with me. But I'm met with a dull throbbing in the back of my skull.

"Shit" I hiss as my free hand comes up to rub the back of my head.

"Bess?" He questions. His voice still raspy from his lack of sleep.

"Michael" I greet with a smirk.

At first he's confused with my response, probably expecting something more pathetic as I've just been injured but then his face splits into a broad grin.

"Hello sweetheart"

The doctor visits me twice more seems as I lost a fair amount of blood causing me to complain every time he walked through the door.

A knock on the door sounds for what feels like the hundredth time.

"If you're a doctor, fuck off" I groan earning a chuckle from Michael who hasn't left my side all day.

The door continues to open and Tommy comes strolling in halting at the end of my bed.

"I've spoken to Grace" he states. His piercing blue eyes never leaving mine.

I stare back.

"And?" I prompt.

"She's admitted everything and is now leaving to go and live in America"

"Good" I reply curtly. Tommy nods before leaving the room.

"I'm bloody glad she's leaving, if she wasn't then I'd take you and leave myself" Michael murmurs.

"I can't stand to see people hurt you, Bessy. I love you"

"I love you too" I reply with a smile before leaning in to kiss him.

I apologise for this first imagine being pretty shit. In all honesty I knew what I wanted to write it's just not come out how I wanted it to at all. For that I'm sorry.
