Asylum

Chapter 2

As Toby and Lilly entered the cafeteria, the same girl who tripped Toby was in front of the line "Oh God, it's her." Lilly whispered her eyes squinting as the girl walked away "I'm going to find a seat for us." Toby said while walking away 

Toby's P.O.V.

Lilly is getting tense; I gotta help her, but she's set on getting even with that girl. Hopefully she'll be wise about it though, she knows what  Nurse Mary will do to her. Yet she's too stubborn to understand. 

Before I left, I held her hand as I hugged her Don't confront the girl, you'll get in trouble. Her eyes glared at mine "I'm not an idiot, I'll take her to the broom closet or somewhere else." She growled; I'm not saying you're an idiot, I'm telling you what not to do I reply as she stormed off

Lilly stormed off as she went to the seat where the girl sat at "Hey, girl. You got nerve to hurt my friend like that." She growled as the girl in front of her sat up "Oh, really? What are you gonna do, huh? Hit me? Fine, hit me!" She yelled shoving Lilly to the floor "C'mon, fight back! You coward!!" She screamed, her eyes flared with rage as Lilly got up and hit her with all of her might "How about that?! I hit you! Who's a coward now?!" She screamed as she repeatedly hit the girl, causing her nose to bleed and bruises on her body started to darken "What is going on?" The nurse cried out, dragging Lilly of the girl "She asked for it! I showed her what happens when you piss me off!" Lilly yelled regaining her strength to stand up by herself "Don't touch me!" She yelled at the nurse "Young lady, you know the punishment for fighting or causing a commotion." She said sternly firmly gripping her arm "Ooh! Let me guess, I get ice cream and cookies while you do an illegal surgery on me!" Lilly replied sarcastically rolling her eyes and the nurse's grin turned sinister "The surgery is required, young lady, and it's not illegal; it's a procedure to check your little mind." She said slowly as she grabbed her arm and dragged Lilly down the narrow hallway 

Lilly's P.O.V. 

"You guys are sick! This asylum's horrible!! WE NEED YOUR HELP AND WE DON'T GET THAT! WHAT DO WE GET? EXPERIMENTS,HAVING UNNECESSARY SURGERY, AND TAKING MEDICATION THAT MAKES US WORSE!" I scream at the nurse as she's dragging me down the hallway, she's not listening, she loves it when we fight; that's why I hate this stupid place. They don't help us; they make us worse than we already are. But me, I'm a hopeless  case, Toby can escape this hell; I can't. 

The nurse opened the door to an old operating room surrounded by machines and I.Vs  the tiled walls were fading and the steel operating table was rusted and blood stained "Lay down and stay still." The nurse said as she slipped off Lilly's old dress and forcefully stuck an I.V. needle into her arm, causing her to hiss in pain "I really hate you guys. I really do." She growled before she closed her eyes and everything went black
