There was silence in Toby and Lilly's room; Toby was staring outside the window and Lilly was picking at her stitches "Lilly, don't do that; you'll hurt yourself." Toby scolded gently taking her hand and placing it on her lap "You're not my mother, Toby. Don't tell me what to do." Lilly snapped taking her hand and began picking at her stitching once more "Dammit, Lilly, stop it!" Toby cried out as she removed her sutures "They're no longer bothering me anymore." Lilly giggled as blood dripped down her waist to her leg "Lilly, oh my God! You're bleeding!" Toby yelled trying to stop the bleeding as Lilly sat there smiling and laughing "Am i?" Lilly asked looking oblivious and smiling "Jesus, Lilly, what the hell is wrong with you?" Toby groaned rubbing his temples with his fingers "I dunno, Tobs, but I know I'm broken, you are broken. No fixin' us." Lilly replied in a daze and her eyes slowly rolling to the back of her head

Toby's P.O.V.

Lilly's gone more crazy, her eyes are foggy and glazed over; she looks like she has cataracts or a zombie, I don't know what to do, she's just talking about how we're broken and how we got here "Lilly? Lilly, can you hear me?" I softly ask as she looks at me; she looks confused "Who are you? Where am I?" Lilly whispered softly. Oh, Jesus, she lost her memory. That stupid nurse and that stupid girl got her into this mess "Lilly, it's me, Toby, your friend." I reply, trying not to cry "T-Toby, I-I'm afraid." Lilly cried softly as she hugged me

Lilly's P.O.V.

I hug this boy named Toby who claims he knows me, but, who am I? Where did I come from? Why is there blood dripping down my leg? I look at my side to see busted stitches and found out where the blood came from "How...how did I get these?" I ask Toby, he looked at me with tears in his eyes, I don't know him, but I hate  how he looks like when he cries "You got into a fight with a girl." He replied, I knew he had to gather up his strength so he could talk to me without crying.

Lilly hugged Toby without hesitation "Don't cry, it's OK, you're going to be alright, Toby." Lilly said as she gently rubbed his head "I wanted to help you more, not hurt you." Toby sobbed, his grip tightening around her waist "You did, Toby, I was defending you." Lilly replied, a single tear slowly falling down her face "I love you, Lilly, I always have." Toby whimpered with his face buried in the crook of her neck "I love you too, Toby. You were there for me when nobody else wasn't." Lilly whispered holding onto Toby as he fell to his knees crying softly
