Lilly woke up with a sharp pain in her stomach and head; her eyes wandered to her stomach and lifted up her hospital gown to see stitches and dried up blood "Stupid nurse." She muttered as she got up from her bed and walked to the door and saw Toby standing in the doorway "Oh! God, Toby, you scared the hell outta me!" She yelled as Toby hugged her "Are you OK? I heard your screams as the nurse dragged you away "Yeah, I'm fine; even though I was yelling and putting up a fight with the stupid bitch?" Lilly said sarcastically and hugged back "I'm fine." She laughed as Toby looked at her with an upset look on his face "Those stitches, they look painful." Toby groaned as he loosened his grip on her sides of her waist "It's fine, Toby; they're going to become scars anyways." Lilly reassured Toby gently taking his hand and her fingers intertwining into his and walked with him in the hallway

Toby's P.O.V.

Lilly never held my hand before; the surgery did something to her, I feel it in her hand as it tightens its grip every step we took and we went outside to get her mind off of it. Her body language says she's fine, but her eyes say a different story. The girl's been through a lot of B.S. in her life, I did as well. That's why we get along. I know she considers me as a brother, but I say otherwise.

Lilly and Toby sat down under a shady tree on a bench
