Mr. Biersack casually walked back into the room.

Although, I didn't notice his presence at first because Shane was too busy tickling me, and I was too busy laughing. Not to mention the other students were talking and laughing quite loudly.

I didn't notice Mr. Biersack until his deep voice echoed in the classroom.

"Quiet!" He scolded a bit too harshly.

Damn, someone's grouchy. The room is now silent due to Mr. Grouchy's sudden outburst.

Slowly, he looked around the room with a harsh stare.

Shane gave me a confused look, and I returned it.

After looking up again, I noticed we were still being stared at.

Mr. Biersack finally dropped his gaze and returned back to his paperwork.

"What in the hell was that for?" Shane whispered in my ear.

"I'm wondering the same thing..." I whispered back.

"I'M SORRY I'M LATE. I HAVE A PASS!" Guess who?

Yup, my best friend.

Jenna.

Oh, how can you not love her?

I wasn't the only one who was shocked by her extremely loud entrance. The entire room stared at her with annoyed looks.

She smiled sheepishly and her face grew a bit red.

Mr. Biersack was mumbling things under his breath.

"Sit." He demanded, still not looking up.

She walked rather quickly over to where Shane and I both sat.

She pulled a desk over and sat beside me.

"Why is he so angry..?" Jenna quietly asked.

"Beats me." I responded.

Mr. Biersack walked to one of the cabinets and began taking out books.

"You're doing the assignment on 'How To Kill A Mockingbird'." He gruffly said before handing them out.

There were a few groans, but nothing more.

Once they were all handed out he retreated back to his desk.

"Jenna, work with us." I said with a smile.

She shrugged and nodded before asking what we had to do.

Before I could respond, the bell rang freeing us from angry land.

"I'll tell you at lunch?" I asked.

"Sure!" She smiled.

Shane and I were the last ones leaving the room. Until Mr. Biersack stopped us. Well, me.

"Jade, will you come here? I wanted to ask you something."

Shane looked at me skeptically and I shrugged.

"I'll meet up with you at lunch." I smiled at him.

"Alrighty." He kissed my forehead in a playful manner.

"Gross, now I gave Shane spit on me." I acted disgusted.

"Haha, stop it, you adore me!" He stated. A throat cleared behind us making me jump.

Shane walked out of the room with a smile, leaving me with Mr. Biersack, who angrily stared at Shane as he left.

"Sooo, what did you need?" I asked.

"Oh, uhm.." He began, and looked around the room.

"I found a notebook under where you sit. I was wondering if it was yours..." He rushed out.

I looked at him questioningly.

"Urm, no.. I didn't lose a notebook. But thanks for checking."

He nods and I begin to turn on my heel.

"Wait."

I tilt my head questioning his action.

Very slowly, his hand moves towards my cheek. He gently touched his warm fingertips to my cheekbone and I shivered from his touch.

As if he just realized what he was doing, he quickly pulled his hand away.

"I.. Oh, um.. I'm sorry.. I.. There was just something on your cheek, so I got it." He said trying to sound normal.

I just nodded and walked out to find Jenna and Shane.
