"I just wanted to spend time with you tonight." I said softly to my drunk boyfriend.

"Well I wanted to go drink with the guys." Tyler slurred as he used the wall to hold up his body.

"Seems like all you do is want to drink with the guys." I said with a stern voice.

"Seems like all you want to do is bitch." He said meeting my eyes with his crystal blue ones. I didn't know what to say, I was beyond mad but I didn't want to start another fight.

"You should leave." I said shaking my head and looking down. He didn't say anything, he just pushed past me and walked out the door. I sighed and walked up to my room. I collapsed onto my bed and stared up at my ceiling.

Tyler and I's relationship seems like it slowly ending. All we do is argue or fight.  we never spend time with each other, it's not even a relationship anymore. I grabbed my phone off the bed side table and called my best friend, Shawn.

He answered on the fourth ring.

"Hey y/n." His voice was soft and raspy. I didn't even think that he might be asleep.

"Hey, did I wake you?" I asked feeling guilty.

"No, no I was just laying in bed on my phone." Shawn said sounding like he was lying. I was quit for a few seconds as a tear fell down my cheek.

"Y/n, are you okay?" He asked sounding concerned.

"Tyler and I had another fight." I said causing him to sigh, "I love him, but-." He cut me off.

"No listen," he said, "stop coming to me about  the problems, and why don't you just break up with him and be with me because then there won't be any problems." Before I could say anything else Shawn hung up the phone. I looked down at my phone in shock.

Shawn's pov:
"Why don't you just break up with him, and be with me because then there won't be any problems." Before she could say anything I quickly hung up. I freaked out.

I ran my hands over my face and sighed. Why didn't I just keep that to myself?

Your pov:
I took a deep breath and knocked on Tyler's front door. It was the next day, and decided that I should tell Tyler this while he is sober. He opened the door revealing him in nothing but his gray sweatpants.

"We need to talk." I said looking into his blue eyes. He looked slightly confused as I walked in to his house. We both sat down on his caramel colored couch.

"We aren't the same we used to be Tyler. We barely see each other, or even talk to each other. I think it would just be best if we broke up." I said letting a small breath of air escape my mouth afterwards.

He was quiet for a few seconds as he stared down at his hands, "I think so too." He said finally looking up.

I took a deep breath before colliding my knuckles with his front door. A few seconds after knocking the door opened. There he was wearing a maroon vans hoodie and black gym shorts. His hair was slightly messy, but still looked great.

"Can we talk?" I asked making his smile fall slightly.

"Yeah, of course." He said opening the door more for me to walk in. We walked up to his room and sat down side by side on his bed.

"I thought about what you said last night, and-." He cut me off before I could finish.

"I shouldn't of said that, it didn't really mean anything. I was just sort of using me as an example." Shawn said making my heart break slightly.

"Oh." I said sadly, "well I came here to tell you that Tyler and I broke up."

"Really?" He asked looking into my eyes with his chocolate colored eyes.

"Yeah, now I won't have to call you about the problems." I said standing up. As I walked away I felt Shawn's large hand grab mine. I stopped and turned around to face him. It was then that I realized how close we were. There was just a small space between us. I looked up at him to see him already looking at me. The small space slowly became smaller as he his lips inched closer to mine. My heart was racing against my rib cage. His hands cupped my cheeks as he kissed me passionately.

After a few seconds we pulled away for air, "Now you won't have problems."
