it was so nice to have my best friend back. it was just like old times as we watched a movie we ordered while we sat on the couch together. it wasn't awkward and silent, it was perfect.

of course i am still mad at shawn, but i knew he did what he thought was best for him. Yes, it was selfish, but he realized his mistake and apologized. All friends have their arguments and fights, but it is the best friends that can get through them even if it takes years.

the movie came to an end and i was beyond tired. it was around 3 in the morning, and i needed to got to sleep. the only problem was i didn't want to. i was scared that i was going to have that flashback again. whenever that used to happen to me, i would always have shawn cuddle with me, but i highly doubt he will do that. i mean we just started to be on good terms 2 hours ago.

"you should go to bed, you look exhausted." he said looking over at me with a concerned look.

"uh," i cleared my throat and rubbed my eyes, "i want to, but i can't." i said before yawning.

"what do you mean?" he asked pushing his brows together.

"do you remember those flashbacks i would get when i would fall asleep?" i asked. he nodded so i continued, "well they are back."

"when did you start to get them again?" he asked.

"about a month ago." i said pushing my hair back behind my ear.

"damn it," he said looking away and shaking his head.

"what?" i asked looking at him confused.

"i wasn't there to help you." he said looking up to meet my eyes with his brown orbs.

"well you could help me now." i said smiling a little. his pink lips curved into a toothless smile.

"then come on," he lifted the remote off the table to turn off the tv, "let's go to bed." he said before standing up. i followed behind him to my room. i climbed in on the unmade side and shawn pulled back the covers that were still neatly made.

i turned on my side to face him. he wrapped his strong muscular arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. i rested my head in the crook of neck and slowly drifted into a peaceful sleep.
