6 agonizing hours later we finally made it to the hotel we were staying at. It was a really nice hotel. We were staying in a suite so when our parents get here my mom and I get a separate room from Shawn and Karen.

We got all of our stuff and walked into the nice hotel. I stood beside Shawn as he checked in.

"Name?" The middle aged woman with short blonde hair asked.

"Mendes." Shawn said attempting to fixing the strap on the bag he was carrying. He couldn't get it right if his life depended on it.

"Shawn," I said softly to get his attention. He looked down at me due to the height difference. I slid my hand underneath the strap and untwisted it.

"Are you guys a couple?" The woman asked glancing up from her computer with a small smile.

I felt heat rise to my cheeks, "No, no we aren't." I shook my head.

"Sorry for asking, I just saw the way you two look at each other and thought you two did." She said sliding the key card across the glossy counter.

Looked at each other? We barely ever make eye contact what the hell is she talking about?

Shawn thanked her as he took the card. He walked to the room that the card was labeled with and slid the key into the slot. The door opened revealing the perfect room. A bathroom was to you right when you walked in, a bed room was across from that, and then you had another bed room when you walked in more. There was a small living room area and then the other bedroom was behind that.

"Pick whichever room." Shawn said putting his stuff down on the gray leather couch. I walked to the room that was farthest from the door. I opened the bedroom door to see a king sized bed covered with a white blanket, a closet with a mirror that covered the doors, a dresser, and a huge window that gave a beautiful view of the mountains.

I sat down my bag and began looking for pajamas.

"Do you want something from McDonald's?" I jumped when I heard Shawn's deep voice.

"Yeah,I want a-," he cut me off before I could finish.

"A Big Mac with light sauce and a large fry with a spicy mustard I know." He said making me a little happy that he remembered my order.

"Yeah here's some money to get mine." I said pulling my wallet out of my bag.

"It's fine." He said shaking his head and grabbing his car keys and wallet. He walked out of the suite and closed the door. I sighed and pulled out a old t-shirt that I threw in my bag and some athletic black shorts. I washed my face and then walked into the living area to watch a movie while I waited for Shawn.

I put on the movie "vacation," (a/n if you haven't seen this I  highly suggest it! you will laugh your ass off). My eyelids started to get heavy and before I knew it I was slipping into a deep sleep.
