My room was quiet. The entire house was quiet. My dad was out with his new girlfriend, who I hated. She wasn't any different from him. He hurts me even when she's in the room, and she would help him at times.
My phone began to vibrate so I picked it up. I was getting a call from Jaeden. I clicked on the green button and held it to my ear.
"Hello?" I spoke into the phone.
"Sophia," Jaeden said, panting. It sounded like he was running.
"What's wrong?"
"It's- It's Jack". He was still running.
"What happened?"
"I think he hurt hims-" he ran out of breath. "I think her hurt himself. Bad."
"Oh my god," was all I could say.
"Meet me at his house I'm two minutes away from there.
He hung up.
