Elise's POV

In a state of confusion Elise walked trough the dark forest. She didn't have a clue where she was but that didn't matter. For a specific time she had the feeling of being watched and followed.

Trying to get rid off her ''Stalker'' she attempted to go deeper into the forest. In the meantime the sunlight wasn't able to urge trough the leaves and it started to get colder.

All of a sudden she heard a crack in a weird formed brushwood. She flinched. She looked around but couldn't recognize anything. The forest was filled with darkness. Elise felt like being overwhelmed by the darkness. She tried to orientate herself but the only problem was that she didn't even know where high and low was.

Again she heard the crack behind her. She began to run but after a few steps she lost her balance and tripped. Shortly before falling on the hard ground, she was attacked by something and later on the ''something'' pulled her up. She wasn't able to see by whom she was being held.

Elise was lullend up by her hair. She screamed. The ''thing'' was amused. It was no human laugh. Elise tried to free herself of him but it was useless. She looked for the fire inside of her but it seemed like she couldn't reach for it.

The creature was cheered by her pain. His growing crawls drilled deeper in her flesh. Elise had never felt plain like this.

Suddenly his hold loosened. It gave weird sounds out of him. It sounded like he was afraid.

Unexpectedly the creature was torn away from her. Out of the blue to was now getting brighter and finally she could see something of her environment.

Behind her she could hear sounds of a battle between two. She turned around to see what interrupted the creature. In front of her was standing a boy, who was ramming a knife in the neck of the creature. It was the perfect opportunity to look closely at her enemy.

The creature had outlines of a human being but his face looked far away of that of a human. It had a black skin and yellow glowing eyes. His head looked like the head of a bird. The boy rammed the knife again and again in his neck. The creature screamed. It gave more and more sounds, which sounded less like a human until it became pale and fell.

The boy turned his face to Elise. She looked at him closely. He had long, blonde hair and a pale almost white skin. His clothes were covered in the blood of the creature, which he had killed. That gave him a scary but also an attractive look.

''Th..Thanks for saving me,'' Elise spoke with involuntary hesitation. ''Don't mention it,'' he answered and grinned. Next to him someone appeared out of the shadows. He had short, night black hair.

The blonde boy gave his hand to Elise. ''I'm John'', he said,'' and he is'', he pointed at the boy with nigh black hair,'' is Bylke''.
