As Paige and I walked up to Bill's house, she swung her keys around her finger. I opened the door for her and she walked in. I showed her to the recently redone basement. Everyone except Eddie and Richie were down there. Bill, Bev, Ben and Mike all looked at us at we came down, and awkwardly said hello. Paige rung her hands, nervously. There was only thing to do in a moment like this. "I'll fix this" I said to her. I walked over to Bill's turntable, and uncoincidentally, Nirvana was sitting on the top, which was the band on Paige's shirt. I got it all setup and the music started blasting. Paige smiled and took her leather jacket off. She started to dance, as I came over, and I did as well. When the others saw us, they started to dance as well. Mike went over and turned it up. Half way through the song, Eddie and Richie came through the door and we all yelled hey to them. Something seemed off about them. Richie came over to Paige and me, and danced with us. We danced for a while and then decided to start the movie. "Oh hey Paige. We didn't know what snacks you like, so we got you Reese's and a Rootbeer." Richie told her. Her face lit up a little. "Those are my favorites!" Richie handed to her, and handed me the same 3 Musketeers bar and Pepsi that I always had. I sat down on the couch and Paige sat down next to me, so close to me she was basically pressed up against me, and I blushed. Richie sat down next to her, Eddie on the other side of him. Beverly and Bill sat on the floor as they typically did, to cuddle on the nice soft rug. Ben and Mike took the recliners on either side of the couch as always. Bill pressed play on the movie. And the marathon began.

As the last movie finished, everyone started to stretch, except Paige and me, because Paige had fallen asleep on my shoulder. I gently shook her awake. She slowly woke up and as she noticed she had fallen asleep on shoulder her eyes widened. "I'm so so sorry." She got up and straightened out. "It's fine, really." I stood up as well. It was late now, and everyone was very tired. "Is everyone staying the night?" Bill asked. Everyone except Paige murmered a yes. She looked down. I got closer to her, "Are you staying? You're more than welcome too." I asked her. She shook her head no. "I should get home and fix my place up." She grabbed her jacket and started to head up. She turned around "thanks for having me guys, thanks for the food Richie and Eddie. And thanks for opening your house up to me Bill." Bill smiled genuinely " Of course, you're welcome anytime." She smiled at him, and started to walk up the stairs. I decided to follow her. We both walked up the stairs, and as we neared the top I broke the silence. "Can I walk you home?" She smiled. "Well seeing as my car is out front that wouldn't do me much good, but you wanna ride with me?" My stomach flipped, was I already falling for the girl down the street? "Sure." I nodded. I opened the door for her and then walked around to my side. She had to turn the car around and then we drove the short distant to my house in a matter of seconds. As she turned off the car and yet again, I rounded the car again and opened my door again. She got out and I shut it behind her. "I guess I should head back." I trailed off, looking back towards Bill now quiet house. "Well, you can come in if you want?" She offered to me, as I turned back towards her, my face had lit up, but I recovered quickly, trying to keep my composure. "Sure, that'd be great, I can help you unpack." She smiled. She fumbled with her keys and put her house key between two fingers. We reached her front door and she unlocked it with ease. She pushed the door open and walked in. The nearly empty house stood in front of us. She sighed loudly. "You okay?" I asked her. She didn't really look up, but nodded, and made a small "mmm" noise. I shut the door behind me and she threw her keys on the counter. She took off her jacket, exposing her pale arms. She threw that onto the newly placed couch. "What first?" I asked her. She shrugged her shoulders a little, "my room?" She suggested, and I nodded, following her. We entered her room and her bed was placed in the corner. She knelt down and opened a box, I did the same with the box next to her. "So, what was so wrong with Delaware?" I asked her. She sighed again. "It was just one bad thing after another there. Started when I was about 7 and it never ended. So I chose to move away." She chose to move away? What about her parents? Wasn't this their choice? "You chose to move? I thought your parents chose this place." Her face became a little scared. "Oh ya, right." She shrugged it off. This girl was hiding something, and I was gonna figure it out.
