Woop, more chapters, nothing really to say in this one other than give me more questions for the characters!

I WILL TELL YOU WHEN TO START THE MUSIC AS IT GOES WITH THE CHAPTER.

Athen woke up later than she usually would. She assumed it was because she stayed up late during the night, going through the rest of the boxes items. Along with the notes there was a small pin in the shape of a fist that was snapped in half and shoved into the very corner. Along with that a small shard of green metal - like the metal the dragon hunters used - and the hilt of a dagger. Nothing really of any importance to her.

When she got up the next morning two things were made clear to her almost straight away. The box under her bed was gone and Hiccup was pissed.

Athen shoved her boots on her feet and walked out onto the platform outside the hut, she yawned and stretched her arms up before coming face to face with Hiccup and Toothless.

"Did you know?"

"Know what?"

"Viggo's gone"

"When did he leave?" Athen asked Hiccup replied by saying he had no idea, The raven-haired woman assumed he must have taken the box, It had something relating to him or his tribe and it was clear that if he found it, it was rightfully his. Astrid stood to the side of Hiccup, awfully quiet.

"We are going to head to the northern markets to see if we can find anything to do with where he could have gone, I need you to keep an eye on the island in case something happens. Krogan is still up to something and this could be the distraction he wanted. Athen, Snotlout, Ruff Tuff, stay here and prepare the edge just in case" Hiccup said. Athen nodded as Hiccup, Fishlegs, Heather and Astrid took off on their dragons to the northen markets.

"I need to go check something" Athen's voice broke the short silence. "Prepare the edge for an attack...just in case" she added and walked towards the spare hut on the island. Once the door was closed behind her she let her eyes wander the room. It was completely clean and nothing was out of place except on the previously empty bookshelf there were a good few leather-bound books making their home there. The woman walked over, running her fingers along the spines of the books, her mind wondered where she had seen these titles before.

Her eyes then landed on a small blue leather book with no name on the spine. She carefully picked it up and it seemed quite new and reminded her of the books that hiccup wrote his notes in. She sat down on the small wooden chair by the shelf and opened the book to the first page. On it was a simple inscription.

I believed you might get a little bit bored hanging around here on your own while we are out dealing with Krogan and his men. I took this from Hiccup - I don't think he needs any more notebooks - so that you have something to do while your here.

I understand we never really got along but I know when someone changes, believe me, I've seen it myself.

Astrid

Astrid had given Viggo a book to write in? Athen found it strange that the blonde teen had willingly given the man something, though her behaviour this morning showed she knew something more than anyone else.

Athen turned the page again and began to read. It was a little invasion of privacy but she told herself that it would help Hiccup find him quicker.

I suppose I must use this book if it was so kindly donated to me by Astrid Hofferson.  She was correct in her assumption, It can be quite boring around here when everyone seems to hate your guts. It's only the first day after I got here when a fire broke out in the stables where I was being kept until now. It seems as though Hiccup has finally taken up some competent company in the form of the older sibling of the Jorgenson boy. She is clearly smarter than said boy, though perhaps not very wary of that around her as she was blinded on the night of the stable fire.

Lightning was the reason, the woman - whose name I believe is Athen - Is being forced to be bedridden by Hiccup. She did not like that one bit it seems as she had a good few things to say about it. Im sure if she could have seen he would not be still standing. The others do not like my presence here and tend to stay away from me. Not to be a surprise though as there are many things I have done to cause them to hate me.

For now, though we will see how it goes why I am here.

Athen let thoughts enter her mind and pondered over the notes for a moment before moving onto the next one on the next page.

Hiccup and his friends have left to go and sort out Krogans Singe Tail supply. He may have thought that was an anonymous tip but I have my ways to get information to him without him knowing it was me. I don't need him interrogating me for more information that I am not willing the share just yet.

The Astrid girl has asked me to make sure that Athen eats and drinks the healing brew that their island healer gave them. Surprisingly she asked me kindly to do it. I have a feeling we might get along in the future. The woman assumed that I was threatened to care for her wellbeing, I went along with it. Better she thought that. I woke up this morning to her dragon on the roof of the hut I am staying in. The razorwhip seems very protective of her and very wary of me. That dragon is intelligent.

Another day has passed this one was a little more interesting than the rest so far. Hiccup and his friends have not returned from their mission yet but I am not worried at all about that. I've walked around and seen more of this base now. I must give dear Hiccup the credit for creating quite a well-made camp. It is well defended - no wonder he has been able to deflect attacks easily-. There is a wild Typhoomarag on the island though., I have no idea whether anyone else has noticed but it makes its home near the mountains.

The dragon seems starved. Honestly seeing such a majestic beast in pain like that is saddening. I bought the creature some fish before dawn with the help of the yellow-eyed razorwhip. The silver dragon seems to understand what I am doing. The Typoomarang came down again at dusk and I was able to feed it again. It has already gained more weight and looks much better.

Athen finally exited her hut fully today. She is able to mostly see and joined me in a game of Maces and Talons during midday. We seem to be getting along better but she is a very hard person to read the feelings or emotions of so I have no idea of what she is thinking at any time unlike with most of the other riders.

V

I have decided that this is my final day here, I know for a fact that someone of the riders will find this book. I have a good idea of who as well. Just know that I have taken the Typoomarang - who seems to trust be after I have nursed it back to a healthy weight - and left to find someone. Astrid handed me a box with notes written by my brother and I have gone to find him.

Remember the wanderers island, ask for Grimborn.
